It looked like a teddy bear. / Breakfast session.

We love you Ben!

Sherry Berry!

Qt Vivian! Glasses on glasses.

The one and only Ben again!

Are these people brilliant or what, with the whole March of Dimes symbol???

Qt Jasmine. Everyone took turns holding the sign and wearing my sunglasses.

So what was this picture all about Jenell??

Angel people. And so the walk begins.

Bike, meet mine, so we can ride together!

Picked up Peter along the way

Little odd spiky flower

This is what I had to go through. They kept stuffing water bottles in as well. So Karney, it wasn't that bad. Did you guys all think that I was super ready or what?

Oh Kevin, smile biggerrrr.

"Survival of the fittest" Jk.

Success in finishing the 6 mile walk/run.

Peter and I checkin' out this 1 FTTTTT POND!??!

Water Contest

Cute tattoos guys!

Hot Dog on a Stick Hats worn as knee/thigh pads

Yeah , my jumping one didn't turn out so well in this one. ( And no Dan, I was not tryin' to push you off.]

The jumping worked here though!

"The One that Didn't Let go of the Balloon"

The 5-6 hours 0f March of Dimes was a blast! From running to walking to carrying 10,000 pounds worth of water bottles collected from every stand, to FedEx Pencils and mini boxes this year [ not chap sticks]to hot dogs & ( hot dogs on a stick booth) to the Kid Zone to the balloon ladies to the lake/pond jumping to humongous purple/white balloon jumping, made a lovely Saturday morning/afternoon event exciting. Later in the afternoon, I went to go biking as usual, with my dad and his friend who wanted to cruise along also. So today Mr. Sun sure let me get some of my tans evened out , but left others even more uneven! [ Did you "even" catch that?]

* I hope the Pat's Run went well today!
*I also hope the Great American Liter Pick Up went well!
*I also , also hope Prom goes well tonight for all who are going!
*I got sun burnt!

Reflections: Hatching Pete.

Hello everybody. Today was another chilly and somber Friday. I think it just completely sucks that the weather likes to go up and down like an intense roller coaster. Luckily, Lin let me borrow her cardigan sweater at break because it was freezing cold. I am so glad that it is Friday! "TGIF" right? Besides the complex practice test we had to take in Chem first thing this morning, I also had to face the Chapter 5B Spanish test with imperfect and preterite verbs. Last night or should I say this morning did not go so well. A 2 am wake up call is not healthy, but if you think even licking a teacher's foot will get you an A, then Ha, I'm on the same page as you as well as waking up in the middle of the night/morning. However, I suppose it didn't come down to being as well as I thought, since I never put much effort in it, or her class from the start. Afterall, it is my fault for being so heedless. I watched Hatching Pete afterschool today and I thought it was going to be another one of the lame movies of Disney Channel, but then again, when has Disney Channel ever failed to entertain us with their enterprising shows?

On the other hand, at least English class was another interesting period of profound thoughts. From values, we learned who we really are and can be. So, what are my values? 1. Freedom 2. Money 3. Community 4. Discovery 5. Success/Achievement. Now don't get me wrong, it's not money because I'm greedy or anything, but I mean face it, everybody needs money. [ Not babies.] Money can get you to buy a hot cocoa drink when you're cold. Money can solve your house rent problems. Money can help you pay off the things that you could never pay off for your necessities. Money can save you a life. Love is important, but if it really comes down to being stranded in a dessert with your boyfriend who asks for nothing else but to spend the rest of your life with him without money, would you still agree? Would you risk giving yourself away to someone who you too love, but cannot because you and your boyfriend will be dying real soon due to the lack of empty stomachs because of just a fairly green dollar bill? By then, will you want to live on to be happy together? Or die together before you two get to grow old together? I'm over exaggerating, but to me, money is important to the world and it is important to me. Everyone needs it these days, especially our community. If we had enough, we would be able to spare it around to the people who need and can use the food and shelter. Money cannot buy happiness, but it sure can help save lives and that's what's important to me at the moment. Sharing and caring for others means the world and from it, you can too, go on adventures like on the list, but you will also find discoveries. New discoveries. I enjoy looking out for new and authentic things that will spark up my dull and endless days. When you have freedom, it's a privelege to individuality and timeliness. All of this will let you have leadership, which can later build a strong family/friendship relationship with an even stronger personality background. It all leads to success in the end. Whether you win anything or not, it'll still be noted as an achievement.

She said that our values may change, but it wouldn't necessarily still explain who we are inside. Well, if you say so, then it will be so. But I think that you should always carry the list within you at all times. Trust is important. Cleanliness is important. And if speed, competition, or personal growth is one of your most important factors, then so be it. We're all different. Values are values, but it doesn't just have to be five. No one's going to judge.

70 degrees? What?

Luckily, the weather has been on and off with a good vibe lately. I've been feeling more jittery than ever lately. I don't want to think about how the temperature will be going down to about 60 degrees up until Saturday morning because I am surely looking forward to the March of Dimes. At first, I wanted to go biking, but it is a "march." So perhaps I will consider running instead. I remember how I ran the whole Aids Walk with Jasmine in the beginning of the year. Girl, that was some run. That was when we first became rather close friends. Something to remember, something to be thankful about. Thinking back, this year went by quickly, yet slowly. It just seems preposterous for someone to look through everything from the past carelessly. Well, with all that is happening, I have finally wrapped up my Cyrano essay, spent over 15 minutes of valuable time for Spanish II, finished math homework in one hour for the first time, and went to piano coming back with theory homework that I actually get after so many times of not. Must I say that sometimes the most hated day of the week brings the most productive nights. I'm looking forward to seeing if I could stay to watch Vickie's swim meet, and then go biking with my dad afterwards.

VOTE! VOTE! VOTE! [Soon]

Me:"Where you at Dan?"
Dan: "I'm over here."
Me:"Can you come here now?"

Dan:" Don't tell me what to do!"

Dan: "I"m going to Narnia, you won't be able to find me."

We just worked on some campaign stuff after school today and hung out. After, we checked out some of the tennis game against Oak Grove.

So I spent around 5 hours trying to figure out how to do chapter 12.1, the homework. I can't believe she jumped to Chapter 12 today due to the faster rate of getting down the studies of the uncovered chapters for the Star Test. But still, at least I covered 11.2- 11.4 on my own. As for 11.5, I need to find that hidden graphing calculator.

We have moved into the hot ages

I love how the humid and damp air is starting to come around again. There was nothing but nice cuffed shorts, summer-y dresses, and random tans today. It felt nice to be around at break and lunch again. It felt even better to walk to class with a cheery mood. I thought everything was laid out nicely, considering that it was the first day to come back to more hardcore work. I miss riding my bike already. Perhaps this Saturday with the March of Dimes coming up, we will be able to hop on and go on more "zealous" rides. It is pronounced zel-lous not zealous. I can't wait to stay after school with Vickie and them tomorrow [ if we could] to work more on our campaign stuff. This time, we really have to gather everything together, well at least more than 50 percent. I'm also exctited to get ice cream at the donut shop! One last thing I want to be glad about is the weather once again! Tomorrow will be another fulfilling Tuesday of 90 degrees and above temperature.

Your Spring Break: Lost or Found?

There it is. Schwinn Le Tour II

Mine now! [ I love how there's rainbow on it!]

Do you too, find it odd that the Noble Library decides to just randomly open a "Hawaiian" kind of snack/smoothie shop? This whole scenery reminds me of Rico's Snack Shop from Hannah Montana. Not bad. Progress.

Today , being the last day before school becomes a drag again, how have you laid out everything that you needed to finish? Did you remember to wash your dog like your promised your mom? Did you actually finish that lengthy book that you claimed to be inspirational and heartwarming? And did you remember to finish all your uncompleted leftover tasks? If so, today should be your lucky day! It's time for you to go out in the sun and enjoy some of that fresh air and come back with a nice and even tan.

But as for me, I don't have a dog. I just got a book that looks pretty ensuring about our future lives about compromises and determination, minus the fact that I am not going / or in boarding school. Sometimes I wish I did go, but on second thought, it would not be a win-win situation because a. I would not want to leave my one-of-a-kind friends behind. b. For what reason should I go? Better education? Better everything? I suppose PHHS can be classified as "ghetto," but let's be frank guys, it's where we are going to attend for the rest of our two years remaining, so try to make the best of it and wash away those side thoughts/bubbles. And last but not least, the workload I have today: Medium? I checked out some books related to Spain yesterday, for our Spanish project that is not due until May 4th.

*Don't become the "No WoMan!" Please, Ms. Hewitt, you're a really good teacher and your abilities are just over the top. Words cannot explain how wonderful both you and your lovely personality are, but please, just help us.

What was that? I'll tell you

The owner of the Schwinn Le Tour 2 bike replied! Fast like a nascar, ice like a supahstar. Hopefully he/she will give me his address by tonight, so I will be able to see what this bike is really all about by tomorrow morning. Until then, keep reading.

Bike Adventuring Speaks it all

Katie and I went around today. There were about 6 yard/block/garage sales. Tight. [ Yay, you told me to be on the lookout, and horray! An orange Schwinn Le Tour 2 popped up today. Thanks man.]

Now this...

is simply amazing! I got this off some flickr account. I would give it credit, but I just closed the link. :( Sorry, if this is your pic. But anyway, I LOVE IT! It makes me want to live in it. I want to be the black cat also, even though I am not a fan of cats. So I guess I will not being going to the library today, I should just figure out how I'm going to lay out the next 4-5-6 hours of studying 11.4 since it took me that long to complete 11. 3. Blogspot vs Tumblr. I'm leaning more on Blogspot again. I want to go bike riding so bad like gotta-pee-in-the-pants-that-bad. Hurry up Craigslist, pop out some good ones!

Father Daughter Bonding

I found a coin that belonged to the year of 1951.Yesterday morning/afternoon went rather well My dad and I went exercising and then I visited my grandma. After, we went to the supermarket. And he went grocery shopping. Must I say I was amazed by all the gigantic oranges around. Yeah, I haven't been to an Asian supermarket in so long. It has always been Safeway, Savemart with my mom for awhile now. Well back then. They always have work now, so that's why I really valued today's adventures. Anyway, so Chapter 11 , the first lesson in math, is actually okay. We have learned that same kind of Mean, Median, Mode, and Range stuff before. Now there are just a few new things like the Standard Deviation and such. Tomorrow I want to go running/tennis again. I also want to see if I will have time to do anything else with the campaign because I want to see my grandmama again and see how she's doing once more. Saturday, I might want to go biking with Katie if I really could, just to get the feel of being on a bike again, since she said she had a few extra laying around. As for Saturday also, I need to start getting my Spanish project together. I haven't even considered looking at it yet. It looks like Dennis, Peter, and I will have to get a look on this some other time, some other day. As for Sunday, I will have to wrap up everything. Hopefully I will be able to catch a glimpse of what the charts are really all about in Chemistry. [Though I did at several points regret that I just had to take Chemistry Honors, yeah. I feel better about it now only because I guess I am learning afterall.] I am blogging at the most random times. For instance, midnight, mid afternoon, morning, Sorry if it's confusing, not that anyone even reads my lengthy blogs. My lethargic energy makes me want to procrastinate after solving/figuring out extensive math equations. So. Peace.

And so this morning-afternoon goes on with about 6 hours spent on Chapter 11, section 3. Algebra 2, I worked hard and now I get half of you. There's still about 2-3 lessons left on my own. Hopefully I will get everything together before we get back to school. I'm exhausted, but I figured most of you out. I am an indeed an oddball, speaking to Algebra 2. I finished my history summary in about 5 minutes this morning while texting Dennis. Well, well, you are lucky to be in Palo Alto " shadowing." Shadowing can mean a technique used to increase the computer speed fyi. But your case of shadowing is just following someone around. I guess it makes sense. There's still the Spanish project, I will consider paying a trip to the Noble Library to check out a few books on Spain and some of those fiction books. I haven't read anything in so long . ( Ps, magazines and text books do not count.) I just want to blog all day because my mind drifts off so easily.

Bicycle Crazy

I 'd like to ride you right now. This is an idea of what I'd want my future bike to be like. A fixed gear/road bike. We'll see. Tonight went by really well. Okay it's supposedly Thursday right now, but it's just midnight. I had a good talk with Jenelly as always about our future hangout plans. Looks like they're heading towards a good direction as of now! [Along with Dan and Kimmy as well.] I'm glad Lin got to finish the Hannah Montana movie. I told you it was pretty good! :) I'm glad today was full of my research lists of bikes, bikes, and bikes! I can't wait to save enough money to get an SLR camera also! But all of this will be a lengthy time away from reality. I will have to go a long way. Tennis free today. Shopping : wait , I will come for you soon. Homework: Don't worry , I will not leave you behind.

Okay now , it is officially Thursday morning/afternoon/night:

1. sundress 2. vintage bag. 3. F21 charmed necklace. 4. F21 vest. 5. Friendship bracelets.

Nothing but a simple sundress on a nice and sunny Thursday morning to go cruising the city. I like how it's still bright at 7 pm right now. But I recall that last year around this time, it was already blazing hot. I have been working on my math homework for awhile now. Well actually , I am working ahead this time for Chapter 11. I have no clue where this will bring me. But hopefully not another 60 percent or lower is what I am counting on.

I miss those summer days

Just an old navy Paris tee, and a black dress from F21 worn as a skirt.
Random cheetah flats.
Skateboard.

Campaign week is just around the corner for sure this time and there's so much to get together and wrap up. Hopefully everything will fall into place soon. I wish summer would come faster, but then we'd still have to get through the Cat 6 / more tests/quizzes, finals first. Man, everything is such a drag. If we could walk out with flipflops/sandals/ gladiators everyday with no worries, life would be easier. But then again, nothing comes free so we have to earn for our freedommmm. And if today was not Wednesday, maybe I'd be a little happier. I realized that I don't even enjoy playing piano as much anymore because of the forced lessons. But it is not completely "forced" since my mom likes to say that I don't have to take them anymore if I didn't want to. Though it'd just be a waste if I threw away 12 years of hardwork. Just one-two more years until I'll be done. Maybe I should just keep going, which I am. This summer will sure make me go insane and give me a hectic life. I will be attending the Early summer sessions of Revolution , and hopefully Karney will join too. Tell me if you can or I will ask you real soon. You guys too, Anne and Dan. If you guys sign up now, then we can be in the same class together, which will be awesome. I'm mildly worried for my Algebra 2 class though. Right now, it doesn't look too good. The grade I mean. With about two tests and one final left, I don't know how much longer I could hold on to this difficult class. It just sucks that everything goes down after so much studying. Well Ms. Hewitt , you are a nice lady but I don't know what to make of you or your class anymore. If I really need to, I guess I will grab a summer school form for second semester for math in the office first thing on the Monday we come back.

The Battery Days

Lunch time fun.
Today we just sat at this deserted table to just stare at whoever passed by because there was nothing else left for us to do. But it was so quite hilarious to see people's reactions. Some laughed, some got scared, and didn't even look. Oh, Dan and Jenell, what would I do without you two?

Cookies and no milk

It's heaven! So today Dan and I just had a cookie race at lunch since he decided to skip Unicef. Last week and this week were totally Girl Scouts Cookies week because almost every delightful human being was carrying either a box of Short Bread or Thin Mints.

I can't believe I lost my eraser.

I wore Nike socks with my boots today over my tights. Cozy. I might do it again tomorrow. I've been losing my erasers consecutively now, something has to be changed. I am such a klutz. Clumsy Connie.

Monday, March 2, 2009

i was born a unicorn.

There is a lot of work to finish up today. I have another chem quiz tomorrow. Oh, and history also. I should really get going on my new outline for English. Peace.

Phil and someone.

One of the signatures are Phil's.

I really like this. Thx Kimz.

Okay Dan actually scanned these and they look better than the one I just put yesterday.
