Homecoming Fever
Preview of Project

It's about that time again! (Actually maybe in about three-four months). Homecoming is kind of, sort of , somewhat around the corner for us. If any of you have been wondering where I've been, I've been in the living room, dining room, and outside the garage painting, painting, and doing more painting. I believe we will be so ready once the school year comes around again. I am exhausted, but as you can see above, I have to clean the messy floor tonight once again. Tomorrow, I will be moving and packing things into plastic containers because my dad and I are about to enter Project A, which is to repaint my room. Any suggestions for colors? Tangerine or aqua?

P.S. If any of you are up for helping me paint on possibly Sunday morning-afternoon-night, or sometime around next week, please let me know! I could always use an extra pair of hands.
P.P.S. If any of you have leftover paint that you feel is in no need, please bring all that you can! That would be greatly appreciated!

Have a good Tuesday night everybody. I will catch you all tomorrow night!

Ship in a Bottle
"Don’t you ever wonder how they do this?"
We will not grow old
I'm still feeling giddy about the miracle that happened yesterday night. ( You know, the one where my ipod nano magically decided to work again after one whole year.) So I spent my night covering all the songs that I've wanted to upload on various playlists for a very long time. Also, is this weather killing you all? If not, great! This is the summer weather I am fully talking about. This is the weather that makes up for those somber days and tiresome nights I have not enjoyed. This is the weather that I have been longing for ever since.

Call me crazy, but I'm just saying that I like being able to eat fresh fruits when I come home from 97 degrees tennis practices or 1,000 degrees dripping-sweat-runs. I like having joyous times picking the highly scented plums off the plum tree in my minute backyard. I like climbing up the ladder on the right side, then moving it to the left. I like making my own iced lemonade after dinner. I even like writing my plans out on pieces of line paper and then making the worse airplanes I can ever make, when I'm done. So let's not waste this soon-to-be fascinating 18th summer day together!

Nashville, TN. Songstress

Why do you ask, do you ask me why?
I live inside my head.
You know this.
Croon to the tune of your own sweet sighs
I'll chant and chant and chant this anthem

Beat on the walls and on the ground
To hear the floor and feel the sound
Drink all da' moisture you can down
Of heaven's juice until you drown

Stitch up your lips with pins and please
Never never tell my secrets
We are the ones without disease
But medicine is still much needed

Beat on the walls and on the ground
To hear the floor and feel the sound
Drink all da' moisture you can down
Of heaven's juice until you drown

Why do you ask do you ask me why?
I live for the sounds and gain their wisdom.
Croon to the tune of your own sweet sighs
Beat on the drums 'til you grow numb.
I have just reached 1,000 games in Typeracer at this very minute! (Not to mention that the other players have reached about 3,000-9,000 long ago). I'm not sure if I'm about to go there, just yet.

P.S. I am not obsessed.
"Party like a Rock"

Hike, hike

You didn't think I'd forget Aladdin on such an important day did you?

The five of us went hiking up Eagle Rock today and I think we got our morning exercising at a pretty decent rate. I should thank my mom for heading out early with the car, because we would have missed out on the great walk getting there and back otherwise. I haven't gone hiking up Eagle Rock since I was in elementary school and that brought back a few unforgettable memories. I actually felt carefree to climb up the rocks and just sit there peacefully. Though Karney and Trung played Tap Tap in the middle of nature, I'm sure they still absorbed enough of that adventurous air. To conclude, I biked with Anne back to her house and ate leftover KFC for lunch.

My attempt at the
Little Miss Sunshine bus
with some different
features.

There goes a Happy Jamba Juice Family.

Today was not the usual, but perhaps the better. I woke up early to head over to the track to drop off my purple and black bottles of paint for Katie at the bleachers. So while I was at it, I drew a bike and left her a small note. Luckily, no jogger/runner picked up the two lonely bottles of paint sitting there for no reason before Katie. Not long, I went over to Alison's and we began our morning exercise. Supposedly, the plan was to run all the way to Jamba Juice and back but Alison quit halfway. There were a couple of neat yard sale displays that were happening on our way back in which one of them held an unique vintage look specifically. Other than playing burning tennis in what felt like 97 degrees with Andrew afterward, I think I will definitely consider going back for more of that Pomegranate-pick-me-up next time with Raphael and Alad.

I told Alison to act like she was tired
and she said she "was" tired.

So Dennis just showed me one of Colbie Caillet's new songs Fallin' For You. It sounds like one of those late night songs you'd listen to while you're cleaning your room or just thinking about whether summer will get even better from here.

*Thanks Dennis!
Princess
Delight

My room currently smells like a mix of early summer morning breezes and late night scents of paint brushes. Luckily, Dennis took me to a few great places this morning to pick up some serious birthday material. Since Jennifer and I decided that we'd throw my brother a surprise birthday party a month before his actual, I spent my afternoon decorating and finalizing a product that turned into a messy Barbie-like jungle. It was all so pink and princess-y, but that's what made it a surprise right? Besides, what's a party without balloons as well?

P.S. I watched The Squid and the Whale also. Though I thought it was a bit crazy, it was still another one of those decent comedic Indy films.
I just got this from Kimmy's Tumblr. Shoot, we got this great shot of a mysterious "thing" falling out of the sky yesterday when we went biking. This is no joke because we have more pictures for proof. Have fun examining this mysterious creature.

Will you remind me again of how many balloons it should take to hold up a single bike?

The Power of Raphael

I somehow practically worship this almost-nude, teal haired troll now. Today was another productive day of attending my third SAT class, biking, practicing a minimum amount of tennis, playing piano, and studying. According to the sometimes-accurate Yahoo news, tomorrow morning will be slightly warmer than today. According to Yahoo news again, apparently "King of Pop," a.k.a. Michael Jackson, has passed away today. In memory of the 50 year old singer, we should rock out with the famous song"Beat It". Therefore, I hope to see you all enjoying that fresh California air along with pumping that music loud and proud first thing!

Hungry for the beach?
Tonight's menu:

a kite, three 1/2 birds, and a bike in a mustard yellow bowl
Do you spy four to five balloons tied to a bike?

Since some small plans got canceled this morning, I figured that I'd just try to hold further plans for tennis until next week. I also decided to quickly draw and paint a few balloons to take them out to the fresh air. That was when I started to notice that Summer was starting to roll in slowly in my tiny backyard again. Sweet purple plums are starting to grow around each branch as well! Furthermore, I hope you guys are still in that morning adventurous mood because I sure am! In fact, I am about to proceed to my daily routines. So see you all in a bit.

Sam Tsui has yet to sing another incredible video with the help of Kurt Schneider!
three strange balloons reaching out

Oh, and this was what I was up to last night.
A Pol in a Pic

Hello Bloggers! I spent another warm morning at Independence to take my second exam for Revolution for about four hours until I headed home for some lunch. I got to school in a rush only to find that I was a little bit too early for our first Leadership meeting, but Key club has always reminded me that, "being on time is late". Therefore, all I have left to say is that I hope everyone will be expecting a new and exciting upcoming year because we will be planning, planning, and planning lots this summer!

Indiana Jones and the Egg

Apparently it is Summer for Indiana Jones as well. L.A. Candy was actually a well written book that was worth reading for the passed two days. I have stepped away from two things for about a week or two: tennis and movies. Though so much has been happening within such a short amount of time from day to day, Summer has been well off so far on my list. I thought I wouldn't be able to reach many of the exotic plans that I've psychotically written down on the last day of school, but I've actually covered more than what I've expected with the people I enjoy being around most with. So thanks to all for keeping me on track for a great start of an enjoyable Summer!

Tonight, tonight!

A Day in Daly City

I woke up fairly early to read L.A. Candy until my parents came back from work to bring us and Jennifer's parents to Moonstar to eat some seafood. For one thing, buffets don't suit me as a person very well, especially since I'm usually not the type that would keep going back for more. But I must agree that the Green Tea ice cream was definitely decent enough to be coming from a buffet that actually scoops the ice cream for you instead of making you use the usual tedious machines that every other buffet does. For another thing, there are content Sundays and then there are unsatisfying Sundays. I'd say the unsatisfying ones are the ones when you usually can't do anything or go anywhere after 5-6 pm since every store practically closes down early.

On the other hand, at least I bought this wooden leaf box holder to hold my paintbrushes. My brother, Jennifer, and I tempted to go thrift store shopping today, but I probably got the wrong address because we ended up in a different Goodwill. But either way, I did eye a neat antique jewelry box that I think I will try to go back to next time. Tomorrow, I have my SAT class early in the morning and film to pick up from Heather late in the afternoon, so I will catch you guys later!

A gust of wind, a dusty ride

Even though it gets messy, I still find myself being interested in watercolors more and more each day. Testing out multicolored tubes of paint always surprises me. Happy Father's Day to all.

I would really like to see the musical someday.
