Pop!
Goes the Weasle
Yesterday, I unknowingly finished my essay regarding violence for Leadership in about two hours or so. Today, I went to a buffet with my family in Newark and it was nice to see my lovable grandma again. When she's 90, I will be 24. Jennifer and I counted. And Jennifer would be 28. Now, 2010 will be approaching in approximately 2 hours and 37 minutes on my clock. Before I celebrate, my movie Winter Passing awaits along with an extra bowl of kettle corn. Happy New Years' Eve guys!

Oh Edwin, you were so lucky to meet Ben Lee!
I am so , so jealous!

An afternoon tune.
Zoy? Zut? Zee?
Ah, zap.

This letter caused me some trouble. It was game night tonight and Jennifer, my brother, and I played Scrabble. 2 Rounds top while watching I Love You, Man and Made of Honor in the background on my brother's laptop. First round my score was 93 and second, it was 144. But both were not enough to top the other two competitive Scrabble players next to me. Wow I just really suck at board games in general or what? We snacked a lot tonight with Redvines, Popcorn, ice cream, Pomegranate flavored Izzy drinks, and all the things you could imagine as being unhealthy.

Okay first thing tomorrow : morning jog.

Also, either there is a 6th family member in my family that I do not know about or that extra toothbrush is just there for display. I counted. There's my dad's, my mom's, mine, Eric's, and Jennifer's. That's 5.

Happy new Year,
not yet

pictures from here
from Edwin's blog

So, a new year is surely approaching. I still haven't really thought about some realistic resolutions yet. I have not had the chance to actually think about them because I've gotten back into my Euro History study mode. But after reading the 16 page packet that Ms. Davis gave us, writing the 3-4 page reflection has literally been the hardest task so far. There are so many topics, subtopics, historical events, and such. I've been digging up some super old notes to refresh my crusty memory for the past hours. It looks like I'm going to have to reread the big red textbook a million times before I capture the light of my favorite subject once more.

On another note, I don't know what it is, but I cannot wake up automatically to my cell phone alarm anymore, no matter how many of them I set. Either I've turned partially or majorly deaf, or my bad cases of insomnia haven't made serious miraculous turns yet. So both assumptions equal to severe turmoil. I think I will take my break later to watch I Love You, Man. Now who's with me?
Youth In Revolt

I just finished watching this on my computer and I feel deadly exhausted. I believe I have a horrible case of insomnia. Now, I bet you are going to go listen to the song. This movie is definitely something that's worth the watch. I love Emily Blunt! She was such a great actress in The Young Victoria as well, with her British accent, poised self and all. Props to the great actresses these days.

Tuesday is here once again--my favorite day once more.

The Fixed $4 Antique Plate

So this is a floral antique plate that I got from an antique shop last summer and the moment after I bought it, my super clumsy hands got buttery, and dropped the bag and it cracked into a million shattered pieces. Being disappointed and upset that I found such a great buy that day, I brought it home and left it there on the side of the counter. At that time, I didn't know whether if I should throw it away or not. I didn't know my dad helped me fix it until a few days ago. It looks as good as new! (Well, until you click on the enlarged picture, that is. ) Hehe.

Today, I finished my Euro AP movie review for The Young Victoria in about three deeply researched hours, and walked to Anne's house to drop off her UO tree, lights, and ornaments. I also started reading The Tipping Point. I have to admit that it made me begin to really think about all the crises that have recently sparked up in the community. Oh the things books can do to you.
What is YOUR way?

So Sherry sent this to me a few minutes ago and I thought it was really funny because I told her Ms. Mac would get so angry. Because you know, being a math teacher and all...
Replay this.
No the song Replay.
Yeah, replay it.

Lunch for two,
tickets for... maybe 7?

Anne came over early this morning and Sherry 's mom came to pick us up to go shopping at Santana Row. Surely, there were still enough sales for me to take home some more unnecessary junk. And I for sure, have a real problem. I think I just might have to get retail therapy after all. Sherry quoted, " Jane, I think you're the first person that I've ever met that shops so much like this." Okay shame on me once, shame on me twice. Now read the quote again. Now let's hold a more realistic vow. I will get to the bottom of the cure by the end of 2009 and the start of 2010. Help me get back on the tracks! Well literally. Hehe, on the school tracks for exercising and also back onto the right path of being a book child or anything else besides a shopaholic. Because that is just simply up to no good, no good at all.

This afternoon, Anne cooked me lunch for the first time and used my messy kitchen to make her scrambled omelets and sausages meal. Delicious??? Or what! It was super nice to have a friend do such a thing for me and I am deeply grateful for Anne. Not long, my brother took Anne, me, Karney, and Kevin downtown to watch Avatar. Not only were we late, but we still decided to purchase movie tickets to the current show we planned to watch. But wow, ONE WORD:

e p i c

I will post the trailer in a bit and the pictures because I just can't get enough of it! It was seriously like all the parts of Jurassic Park and Transformers 1 and 2 mixed together with aliens and dragons! Peter Vu, I was seriously going to make an urgent call to you to inform you that this is the kind of movie that you'd like! 3-D computer games like! It could possibly remind you of intense power rangers from the military feat super high-tech-bio-tech related scientists on the run for escaped dinosaurs and aliens riding oversized birds, in which all of them are going to either be your buddies or fierce enemies in the end.

After Avatar, Johnson came by and Chong and his friend David came. While they purchased their tickets to The Young Victoria, Anne, and the rest of us went to Starbucks. There, I ordered a yummy , or rather heaven-like grande Skinny Vanilla Latte. It kept me warm for the first 15 minutes of the movie The Young Victoria. Now, this is the movie that we are supposed to see for Euro AP if we wanted to get extra credit. Of course, we are going to have to write a two page review on how historically accurate it is, but no biggie! I am all up for this! It really wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be at all. Sure, there were many, many corny parts , but maybe it was just me since I already said I generally am not the lovey-dovey type. Yeah, I know, this gives you permission to say, "Good flippin' luck finding a home with no cats being the catlady you're going to be Jane" right? Alright, it's fine, but just by the storyline and ending , the movie was pretty darn interesting, and I'd say that even for the really, really dramatic parts as well.

Sorry for the longest blog you'll ever read for the millionth time. But after this, we headed over to Christmas in the Park and searched for our Pirates tree once again. Then, we got in the longest line for the longest time for ice skating. I even asked a really nice lady to sign our waiver for us and said we were together as a group. But it's too bad that more than half way there, my brother said he was already there to pick us up because he had to go play some real bball. Therefore, I came home early. Now, watch the trailer for Avatar and tell me how crazy epic it is.
"Eywa is the guiding force and deity of Pandora and the Na'vi.

They believe that it keeps the ecosystem of Pandora in equilibrium."

Sorry if it takes forever to load!
Nail Polish , My Boy
For one, I do not paint my nails. Or I have not since the first grade, along with not chewing gum since the first grade.

For two, this post is about my boy Trung.

Trung here, is going to be brave enough to put his nails on the line. And I , am going to put my physical appearance on the run. The bet was that if I could last one week with a backpack, and no bag (s) at all, then he will let me paint his nails whatever color I choose. But if I lose, then I have to wear a fishnet. This is some what of a big deal to him, but not so much to me because I don't like to fuss over things that aren't the very worst. Or are there any things that are more worse than the very worst?

This is for me to remember , since I am very forgetful. I cannot wait until school starts again then. He acts like I don't use backpacks!
Let the games begin.

Headband Palooza

Something simple out of the ordinary. In the midst of the Christmas holidays air, I wanted to try some DIY projects out. They didn't turn out spectacular, but hopefully I'll get to visit Michael's later this afternoon to see if I can gather some materials to attempt something plain and dull into something delightful and maybe even charming. While at it, I hope to see you all at the day-after-Christmas sales tonight.

Christmas with the
Wild
Things

Surprise! I didn't wake up super early today because I am not sure if I really slept through or not since Chong and I decided to text each other about life's crises [pronounced cry-seez] during the beginning of the night. So there were two mornings--one that started at 12 am and one that started at 6 am. I kind of " woke" up or got up to the sweet smell of fresh Christmas air. After breakfast, I studied this one math section from the thick book of SAT practice tests. I struggled through the same few questions until I closed it and decided to look up some Christmas spirit online. I watched a few Christmas-related YouTube videos until Jennifer sent me the page to making the one and only Christmas m&m cookies. Time flew by after I decided to make and decorate Chong a mixed CD. The picture was indeed inspired by Etsy.com. I think this is the beginning of a bright new friendship.

Some m&m cookies turned out to be burnt and some turned out to be smooth-looking. We made a few batches and I still have to admit that I don't know how to cook such creatures. I really just mixed and helped out. But this process took literally less than 45 human minutes. Props to some late night treats. Have a Happy Christmas everyone! See you guys at the massive sales---tomorrow morning.

P.S. Thanks for the special delivery Dan. I really like those Max slippers and limited edition mint-fudge covered oreos. But we still have to figure out why they are classified in the "limited edition" category, when they sell them on the racks, all the time.

And if you want to try these cookies out, here is the recipe.

"Fine don't look at the camera, but

can you please act like you like those pjs"
-Mom

Sure thing Mom.

Yeah , this didn't quite work out! But I am definitely on this new mission until I get it!

I can't ask for a better Ben for Christmas

Oh Ben , why are you so cute, cute , cute?

A Tree for All

Again, I stole this from Edwin, who got it from the amazing Ben Hunter.

3 days= 2 1/2 fox weeks

Fantastic Mr. Fox sure was fantastic. My brother took Kevin and I to see it in downtown tonight and I do not regret it one bit. It's one of the animated movies that we wanted to see from the start and surely it had not disappointed us at all. The animations blew us away and there were plenty of humorous parts. And according to the movie, the badgers are allergic to walnuts. All in all, it was superb so, 1,000,000 points to it for being another one of my new favorites. Someday, I will be able to add both this and Where The Wild Things Are to my collection of dvds.

Also, Jennifer brought over snowball treats and carrot cake this afternoon. I don't recall ever having carrot cake, but even if I had, it sure hadn't tasted as cinnamon-y and delicious as hers. And I guess even if you don't like carrots, it's still something to try. Now, I cannot wait to go and see Avatar with Chong, Tam, Karney, and the rest of the group this Sunday! [Which allows Anne to finally visit Christmas in the Park, since this Sunday is the last day that it will be opened apparently.] Along with a back to back of The Young Victoria movie afterward of course, for Euro. Merry Christmas Eve world!

Sex and the City 2 Trailer

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XKQ5yRFkBnE

A large, large recap and some fastforwarding biz

17 things I've done since school went out:

1. went to Christmas in the Park with Jessica, Trung, and Karney
2. went ice skating outdoor for the first flipping time
3. went to Valleyfair/Santana Row with Jasmine and Vivian
4. went to Valleyfair/Santana Row with Jennifer and my brother
5. played new version of Monopoly with Kevin, Karney, Trung, and Danny at Karney's house
6. watched Love Happens, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Away We Go, most of the entire first season of 90210
7. finished reading The Philosophy of Andy Warhol for U.S. History
8. continued to read part of The Time Traveler's Wife
9. went to my piano lesson
10. took at least an hour looking over one math section out of one of the many, many SAT books
11. got Vu, Kimmy, and Jessica presents
12. went biking with Karney and Kevin to people's houses and Quickly's
13. took my med
14. went Christmas shopping for Jennifer with Anne at the Great Mall
15. got Starbucks at least 3 times
16. got the oreo-cookies-and-cream milkshake at Johnny Rocket's
17. tried Tutti-Melon for the first time

9 things I want to do and still need to do:

1. read 16 pages of the Euro AP packet and write a 3-4 page reflection of what I've learned in the class so far
2. watch The Young Victoria and write a 2 page review on how historically correct it is for Euro AP with Chong, Tam, Eric, and Anne
3. review the previous chapters for Math-Analysis before the final
4. review what the heck it is that I am learning in Spanish 3 before the final
5. go to Christmas in the Park at least once more with Anne
6. watch Sunshine Cleaning with Tiffany T.
7. Get breakfast at IHOP with the buds.
8. review for the SATS before January 23rd
9. Go to the Tech Museum with Dan
10. go swimming in the lake within the deep and dark forest of Bear Land
11. climb the highest tree in the world
12. go in a submarine to look at the many fishes under the sea

From 10-12 are merely a few dreams of what I'd like to do when I really get the chance to someday, but not just yet. Because if I were to really name all the things that I'd want to do before I die, it wouldn't be 3 things. It'd possibly be more than 100. And the only person who would really sit down and make these long lists of goals with me, is Peter Vu, the only other square bear and partner in crime that I know.

What's more amazing than camping under... this?

This is totally unfair. I want to do something like this one day. Maybe when I grow older and want to have a getaway, it won't be something fancy like getting a tan in Cabo or heading up to a nice and big house in Palm Springs. It'd probably be to do something like this. Like roasting marshmallows out of the own fire you and your friends have created and telling stories out of nothing. Knowing that there won't be any other tents nearby makes it even more exciting. You know, kind of like the movie I Am Legend, pretending to be survival of the fittest, and exploring the wonders of the night time, except with the rest of the world shut down for a few late hours. Maybe if we're lucky, we might even run into a bear. Or owl if you prefer.

picture from here.

For some reason, some of her songs give a twist of Lilly Allen to me.

Is that bench wet, or just shiny? Just shiny.

Here is a not short recap. Yesterday morning I went biking early in 50 or lower, sunny degrees to Karney's house and we biked to Lin's house together to visit her. We hung out in her garage for a bit until we decided to bike all the way to Kevin's house, which was the distance of going back to Karney's house from Lin's house plus about oh, five more blocks. ( I really didn't know it was kind of that far). So, since my bike was already on its flat tires, Kevin helped me pump Tabitha , the new name I gave my orange road bike. Then the three of us went to Quickly's together in Milpitas and got drinks early in the morning. Biking back was no hassle for Kevin since he lived close by, but it was for me because then my back wheel got stuck to the frame and it made it extra hard to ride up hill. Therefore I ended up walking my bike. Back to Karney's house, he volunteered to go see Anne to see if she was still up to go to Christmas in the Park, but she ended up not being home and we ended up going in circles.

When I reached home, I rested for a bit and then Jennifer asked if I wanted to come along with my brother and her to Valleyfair for her to do some last minute Christmas shopping. So I went and did not run into anybody, but Tiffany T. said she saw me, so we were just kind of texting here and there throughout stores. But hopefully, we might still hang out on Friday to watch Sunshine Cleaning. ( Yes, Christmas day, after I go hiking that is, if it is still on.)

Coming back home once again, my mother had to go through the pizza phase for another day. So she bought super thick crusted two-layer combination pizza. This time, it wasn't so horrible that I still had to tell her it was good. I liked it this time only because it tasted more like bread than cheese to me. Thumbs up for my mama this time. After I ate, we got ready once again and went to pick up Trung and Karney, and then off to Jessica's house. I had a really fun time in downtown. We did find the Pirates tree and it was not difficult to miss. After a bit, we got in to the ice skating rink for free thanks to Jessica's friend who worked there. The night turned out to be really great because I have not forgotten yet, how nice it was to have such a good friend to hang out with again.

Pizza My Heart, except, not for pizza

Some people develop huge migraines and have really bad hangovers after they party real hard from the previous night. But I, I develop intense headaches from watching too many episodes of 90210 on YouTube from the previous night. That's right, my friends, Jane-willy has officially finished most of the entire first season of 90210 last night. It was that addicting, but now, I am reconsidering to watch the second season or not because a) I believe that I will form an immense addiction to it and hang on to it until the third season comes out and b) I should have better things to do than trap myself in front of the computer all day. So since both a and b both relate, should I know better than that? Or what?

Today I went shopping with the girls and it felt really good to hang out with them for a change. Don't worry, I am really not a boy. I just happen to hang out with boys more than girls sometimes because it's been like that since.. as long as I could remember, since.. middle school started. But today was just something different. Since I had girl time, we got to braid each others' hair and paint each others' nails. Okay, no, we really didn't do any of that. Did you just believe me? So anyway we really just bought matching headbands because we happened to see this one design that we all really liked. I could say that that was probably the happiest part of my day. It's just these small things that make me feel so giddy. But, I am more than determined about moving through the whole materialistic phase already. So that means, little things mean a lot of things, not just things like headbands.

We tried Tutti-Melon today and that place sure has good yogurt, and 10,000 and 2 points to it, for not making me buy at least a $10 minimum purchase worth of yogurt at the counter. By the way, I had salad at Pizza My Heart. That is why.

Away to Montreal, away to Miami, away to home..

Terrific? Tremendous? Traumatic? This was a really amazing film about a couple who tries finding a home where they can feel satisfactorily fitted in to for themselves and their soon-to-be-born baby. They travel here and there to visit their family members , including Phoenix and such, but eventually find their place back home in the end. I guess this is what these kind of films do to you. They always make you think about life somehow, when it is over. Whether it's about trying to reconcile feelings for an ex- boyfriend/ girlfriend or seeing a couple divorcing and then facing the hardships and moving into reality, or whatever it is that they do, they just make you think, think, and think. So hopefully this break will change a few things and let the new year start us off bright and new.

But first.. what are breaks for? I guess they're for watching the indie films that I've been waiting to watch, go biking, and hiking in the cold. Well, at least those are a few of the many things that I plan to do. Despite the fact that I have a truck load of homework assignments to do and tests to study for, no worries, I will get to them as soon as possible. I know I still have to wipe the dust off that dusty shelf full of SAT books of mine, but I will get to this SAT studying party soon, as well. Catching up on some sleep lets me feel alive again. I may not be a cold zombie after today, afterall.

And now, back to my 90210 marathon. I've just been you know, doing all the things that I shouldn't be doing-- like watching this incredibly ridiculous addicting show that is definitely hard to miss out on! For one thing, it is the new Gossip Girl for me this break. For another, I plan on going biking first thing tomorrow morning.

Goodnight, San Jose.

I went to the Great Mall with Anne after school today only because we felt like it and because I wanted to get Jennifer's Christmas presents. Guess what? I ended up getting her a few things and came back with nothing for myself. Now that does not happen much does it? No it does not.

So I don't know if it's because I am tired of clothes or what, but I don't think I'll be buying too many things for awhile. I will try to hold this vow the next time I go out to the mall, it is going to be something for Kimmy. I did some crazy wrapping for Jennifer and my piano teacher tonight. I cleaned my room and now I am going to plan out what's going to happen for the rest of the week.

In my Entertainment coupon book that I had to buy myself for Leadership to save my grade, there is a page of a free 2-week trial coupon for Netflix! Alright! Score! Happy Saturday---the first day of break after 12 pm for me. I don't think I want to go to Christmas in the Park with Anne and Sherry today, because for some reason, I am way too tired to do anything. I really don't know if I will end up going to Jasmine's or not either. Therefore, we will see what happens later. And by the way, yesterday was the 10th time I've watched Elf. I watched it twice during school yesterday, 6 times during Thanksgiving Break, and 2 times in the earlier days. I just discovered one of my favorite Christmas movies. It's too bad I lost my Elf hat at the rally. I only got to wear it once while watching it.

I'll trade you these cookies for those houses. I'll buy that airport from you. I'll triple the price.

Did you think I was going to play Barbie after school? After the final day before break starts? No, it was down to some serious business with the Monopoly board at Karney's house. But then it got to a tedious process and seemed to never end like the games of Clue and Life. So, we eventually gave up and watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Though we didn't finish it, I had a good time at Karney's, the usual bro hang out place. I have to go to "foreign school" tomorrow according to Danny, so I have to get to homework soon. But I wanted to blog before I started. This does mean that my break doesn't entirely start until after 12 pm tomorrow. Hey, maybe I can stop by the public library for once, since it's so close by.

I recall last year's last day before break. Madeline, Michelle, the group, and I went to Christmas in the Park and strolled around the park to take pictures and admire the nicely decorated trees. Though this year was spent a little bit differently, I'm glad that new things happen every year. That's what brings the joy into life-- experiencing new things all the time, that is. If you are wondering why there is a gun next to the bag of cuties, it's because I put it there. Karney somehow had some gun on his couch, and Trung and I happened to end up eating his entire sack of cuties. That's right, there is enough Vitamin C for the rest of tonight for sure!

Today actually did consist of all movies in every period besides Band and Leadership. I've had enough junk food ( candy, brownies, cookies, candy canes, chocolate, etc.) for the rest of my life. Thanks for the breakfast, lunch, and dinner you guys! Okay well I actually just had real dinner. But either way, it was all in all pretty festive at school today. That is what I call the Christmas spirit! I think I have to skip out on frozen yogurt with Jasmine and Vivian at Valleyfair tomorrow morning because of "foreign school." Darn, good-bye Tutti-Melon. Happy early grand-opening.

TGIF!!! What are your plans for today?

Some people in "the noobs" group on Heroes of Newerth are kind of mean. They invite me and tell me that it's okay since everyone only played once or twice and try conversing with me, and then they kick me out. Haha, wow, I am going to find Peter to help me.

For me,
today will probably consist of turning in my math homework, watching a movie for the first time in math, having more parties and watching more movies. The showcase yesterday, was amazing. In my personal opinion, they should have made a play out of that instead of Romeo and Juliet. It was brilliant with the Kanye West, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and Charlie's Angel entrances. Bravo to our advanced drama department. It's too bad that I've been a band geek and will always be a band geek. Band geeks stay true to their bands. Well, some. Even if they are not excellent ( like me).

This is Gold!

Oh Will Smith, always so funny. Good video Peter Vu. You are genius. I can't believe Gilmore Girls used to be your favorite show! Because I so did watch it myself several years back. Wow, to think back to all the old shows out there, really brings back some darn memories. I also remember that 7th Heaven and Full House were the down-to-earth and funniest shows everyone used to enjoy all the time back then. 10,000 and 1 points to you for this unexpected confession of yours.

And BEHOLD, I have finally finished downloading Heroes of Newerth, a computer game that I've waited to download for , for the past hour and a half. Thanks for the Beta code Peter. I am true nerd/geek now. Welcome to -- the club.

Says here the top 10 happiest states are:

1. Louisiana
2. Hawaii
3. Florida
4. Tennessee
5. Arizona
6. Mississippi
7. Montana
8. South Carolina
9. Alabama
10. Maine

All based on Yahoo news. And all our lives we hear people saying that everyone wants to come down to California. Hah.

The Winter Concert last night was actually pretty festive. The background on the stage said " Merry Christmas." Considering that every group who performed sang or played Christmas songs made me feel the beginning of the Holiday spirits. The room was packed because all the groups played this time and not just Wind Ensemble, Concert Choir, and the usual. I left as soon as our group, Wind Ensemble, finished playing because I was rushing back home to get down to the books for Euro AP.

I have a test in about 3 and a half hours or so and I have not outlined my essay ideas yet. I read a majority of the section about the textile industry up until the roles women played. Today is finally Thursday. Scratch what I said, after this test, I have one more math assignment to do. Then, I am free. Well not entirely free, but you know what I mean. And now, a little Colbie Caillat for the morning.

"I have Social Disease. I have to go out every night. If I stay home one night I start spreading rumors to my dogs. "

So if you know me, one thing is never one thing. One thing turns into a million things. A million different theories. I've developed a few by speed walking home this afternoon. The first thing is that I may have zoophobia--- the fear of animals. We were reading a list of all the craziest phobias on earth this morning in my english class because it just had something to do with Gothic fiction---which is the genre of literature which includes horror and romance. I get it, fears (phobias) and horror coincide. The list of phobias gave me a good laugh and motivated me to rush home to search up this list again. Okay it didn't motivate me, I just happened to walk really fast home today because this second thing I've learned about myself is that I tend to walk home faster when I am texting and walking at the same time.

I know, since I don't keep my eyes on the road , I am not aware of the things happening at the moment and I could have gotten ran over by a raccoon, but the chances were , Ruskin Road is a very deserted place pass 3 pm. I got home 3. 5 minutes earlier than usual today. Fine, it was probably just 3, but 3.5 makes it look more epic to me. I mean think about the extra steps I put at pace. I just may get one of those speedometers at the mall or Target someday to measure the distance from our high school to my house.

We were asked to do a "quiz" on the historical figure we read about for the passed few weeks in my U.S. History class today. And because I am reading about Andy Warhol, the title of this blog is one of his quotes. I thought it was humorous in a lot of ways and I thought I'd share this out to the world if you feel like reading about the interesting philosophies of Andy Warhol someday. I wrote about two pages while others just turned in a few sentences, because I didn't know I had so much to say about him until I picked up my gray led pencil. Another thing is that I finally got a decent grade on my DBQ ( Document based-questions) in Euro AP. It does not stand for DBGay Chong. I am very happy for one of these first well accomplished papers in such a long time. I suppose today might not be one of those tedious and despicable Wednesdays after all, since I just developed the feeling of victory of containing such glee in the things I did and will do later today.

P.S. My brother is playing Rosie Thomas's song of " Say Hello" on his electric guitar. Wow, 10, 000 points to my real brother today for playing one of my favorites.

Corny McColin

128 square root e 198

I think that was the banner. I just chose not to post the actual picture up because it looked too "twilighty" to me. If you know what I'm saying, that's gr8. <--- You know what I mean now?

So Karney sent me this banner that I thought was a math problem. Generally, I am not a lovey-dovey kind of person and indeed the square bear Peter claims that I am. This took me a very long time to figure out. The directions said to cover half of the screen. I didn't know if it was if my hands were too big or too small to cover over the screen, or if I was covering with the wrong measurements. Even though it really says , " cover the top half of this pic, " if Peter were to do this too, I'm sure he'd come up with the same result as me : 1 love 900. And just so you know, I used the calculator and I got----overflow error.

Now I know it probably says, " I love you, " due to the obviousness of these same "love" banners that are so common on Tumblr, but I just don't see it. I love 900 it is.

In reponse to your 6:50 await Dan,

Darn those Leadership sweaters.

And in counting to the rest of the week:
1 more quiz
1 more test
1 concert
1 class meeting
1 piano lesson
to go.

According to Facebook today, my friend of the day is Christina Nguyen. 10 , 000 points to you my sis.

U.S. History vs Euro History AP

So if you ever wondered if I ever got these two subjects mixed up, you don't have to anymore because sometimes I actually do. I mean , I am bound to come across similar events and dates of important events at some point.

Let's take the Industrial Revolution for example. We've recently gone over that topic in U.S. History and now we are suddenly addressing the Industrial Revolution in in-dept formation of family and social lives of the society. Yes, lots of pollution and population growth. Major changes here and there with certain pieces of land and owners really do remind me of monopoly. And people who have jobs such as bookkeeping remind me of Peter, since he told me that he'd like to own his own bookstore when he grows old someday, and how I'd be able to be in his partner-not- in -crime. So all of this is what comes to my mind when I first hear or recognize the Industrial Revolution. It is all kind of neat though.

I do like history and I take interest in learning more about it until I cannot take in anymore. Time is running and the clock is ticking. I have to get back to studying "The Progressive Movement" and "World War I and Its Aftermath" now. Goodnight or morning, whichever you prefer. Happy Tuesday already!

It's things like these. They drive people nuts.

I know I don't say this enough, but

math is only fun when you understand the concepts. So I guess I could say I don't entirely despise math.

Oh, and we get our Leadership sweaters tomorrow. Well , I at least hope they get passed out tomorrow. That's one more thing to look forward to, besides the "publishing" party in Spanish. And two thumbs up for one of my favorite days tomorrow, Tremendous Tuesday.

It cannot possibly be 4 am already. I just closed my eyes.

And those were the exact words that ran through my dizzy head this morning. That Spanish Children's book really dragged one heck of a night out, but I am glad that I finished it because I didn't have to rush to complete it in class today. All I did was walk into the classroom filled with scraps from the previous class and sat down to wait to bind my book. For the rest of the period, I helped Alison and Elaine with theirs and luckily, they finished in time. You know, I like the feeling of not having to rush most of the times. That way, I feel less jammed in my personal space and less claustrophobic. Tomorrow is the "publishing" party and I cannot wait to see the rest of the class's children's books. Other people's works always amaze me in some way. It's like there is always something that I would have never thought of before or could ever think of earlier. So I suppose that is noted as the genius in the other folks.

So a few people have determined that I am going to become a Catlady when I grow up. Even I , myself, convinced myself that that is going to happen someday. But you know what, I don't want that to happen because apparently I searched up some Catlady videos after school today on YouTube, and let me say, all of them were horrifically unpleasant to watch. I don't want to make a faux pas and stay deserted for the rest of my somewhat planned-out-life. I am going to make that clear as super clear tape now.

I practiced my flute today and I almost forgot our Winter Concert is on Wednesday , the day I will actually have a piano lesson again. Darn this piano schedule I have to follow. We will be playing March of the Toys/Toyland by Victor Herbert, Sleigh Ride by Leeroy Anderson ( my favorite), and Gesu Bambino by Pietro Yon (with the accent on the u). Christmas concerts always make me a little happier despite of the crazy atmosphere. I don't know why, but I don't feel the Christmas mood this year yet, even though our break does start next week. I just know that I have to get through all the tests and quizzes, and once they are over, I will figure out from there.

The rest of Benny's Christmas

If you think that you are not going to finish something, chances are, you probably won't. You need to have a little confidence in yourself and stay awake for the important things you need to complete out there. So in this case, my Spanish Children's Book project is due tomorrow once 5th period strikes, and what do you know, I finally finished it. The text took me shorter than I thought since I had to remember that it was a "children's" book after all. I am glad that I started the craft part early ( early like last weekend) because it saved me a few hours. The last few craft pages took me a good two to three hours to put together or so. I know, I know, it looks so childish but use your imagination and let Benny travel through space on his own. Leave my Benny alone.

So instead of just celebrating Christmas with all his gathered materials in the end, I added Benita, his new soul friend to save his loneliness altogether. I can't wait to bind this tomorrow. It will be completely done in about maybe let's say 11 hours from now. My hands are still kind of sticky from all the glue sticks I used. Today was a well spent day and turned out to be a well spent night. Who says things can't be finished all in one night? That's bogus. But then again, Monday worries should be saved under only Mondays. Well, I am off to catch some z's and then study for my math quiz. See you in a few hours.

This is the cover.

This is the part where Benny tries to pick out the lights for the Christmas tree.

He still feels as though something is missing.

He then asks Benita to come and he gives her a flower and they have the perfect Christmas after all.

And if you are lost within my strange story, here is the other part of the story.
