Key Club Meeting-successful at lunch.

Math Analysis 1.4-1.5 quiz-complete.
Euro AP Ch. 12 Test-complete.
Another day- complete.

Tonight will be a busy night. (Even though I practically say that every day, every night.) I just came back from Elaine's painting, because I really need to pull myself together like I promised or half promised coach. I need to get my priorities straight.I know we will be able to finish Homecoming painting, decorating, and building 3D objects. We just have to. We're going to pull it off just fine.

Tonight, I'm going to get started on starting the English vocab assignment, Euro AP extra credit assignment, and Math Review. I wonder why Ashley Williamson did not come back to Mr. De La Rosa's room today to give me back my neon green math notebook. Part of my life is currently in her hands.

I also have to look over Spanish homework. I thought there was hope in finding my book and that there was a possibility that Justin Lin had it , but he didn't. He gave me a class set book today. I was only a tad bit disappointed because I am planning to replace it soon anyway.
Glee tonight!

Brilliant, Dan.
So I decided to just stick with a brown cardigan, Threadless T-shirt that came in the other day, black jeans, and tan boots from Target. I have to leave in about 24 minutes. I hope the Math-Analysis quiz and take two of the Euro AP test goes well today. Wish me luck? Or no, it's either you know it or you don't.
My eyes burn in the morning all the time. So it will be 75 degrees today. Coat or no coat?

KEY CLUB MEETING TOMORROW.
BRING THE 28 DOLLARS FOR FALL RALLY NORTH
It looks like I am going to owe Marisa something now since I probably won't sleep before 12 am.

It sure feels like I'm up for 24 hours everyday. I also hope the Chili's fundraiser dinner went well, since I had to miss it due to the tennis game against EVHS.

Score: ( 1-6, 2-6)

Ms. Mosier's Classroom Barricade

Karney said they built this in his class during third period. Impressive or what? It does look like a complete sculpture. In my period, I just had to seize my Euro AP test and sit there in silence.
I need to pull myself together. I think Coach was being real calm and concerned about my situation today. I feel bad for all the times that I've responded to him. Hopefully these three days will show that I will be okay.

P.S. Thank you for the mixed Cd Dan. It had a super neat cover. Props to the first track. (and the rest)
Sigh. I napped for another hour. Now I am drinking unsweetened Hot Cocoa. It is so bitter. I do not have a bitter heart. But it is surely waking me up. Those 6 things haven't been done yet.
I must focus.
It has almost been an hour since I've been up again. That nap sure did me some good. Good thing I didn't sleep through the whole entire night though. I still have 5 things to accomplish:
1. Study for Euro AP
2. Figure out how I'm going to write the essay for Euro AP today
3. Make a poster for movie night to show Ms. Jones and advertise during lunch
4. Do the personality test on DeVry University.com and print it out for Leadership
5 . Spanish homework

Maybe 6. I should find my tennis uniform in the dryers soon. We have a game against EVHS today (away).

Monday, September 28, 2009

I just finished the last bit of the Vanilla Ice Cream left in my fridge. My dad just helped me fix my flute since I dropped it at the courts today and it apparently "broke." Now I am ready to study, study, study Euro AP. It just might be another long night. I need Peter Vu's assistance. Square bear, you always come in handy the day before a Euro AP test.

"Monday"

Something felt different today. Monday was off to a great start for 6- half of 7th periods straight until I reached tennis. But during the day, everything went well. I even volunteered to go first for my Spanish presentation because I felt like I had it down. I'm glad I made some sense out of it. Also, Leadership was quite interesting. A lady from DeVry University came and talked to us about the future and we got to use stylists/pens to mark the electronics. I really felt like I was in the future already.

Plus, the fact that Dan let me borrow his lime green watch for tennis, I felt like I was in the future even more. It's crazy talk, but it was just that moment. Tennis was disappointing as usual, but after ward, I rushed to the bank to help paint and finish the lasts of our many themes.

Now I am home and I just finished eating dinner. I am going to shower, practice my flute, and then study for Euro AP all night. Expect little posts later in the night.
Horray! I finally got my Spanish presentation down early for once. I cannot believe that I feel on task for once. (besides Math-Analysis that is, since the homework is still missing about four problems.) Lin, you must help me as soon as possible. I don't have time to go to Ms. Macasaet this afternoon because I have to go to the Key Club Officer Meeting. I think we are going to discuss Freshmen Representative Interviews today. I am excited for that because I have 5 copies of 15 questions prepared.
"Productivity stems from Passion."

Queen Elizabeth I

Wow, this is surely one of those grand portraits of Elizabeth I. So I am posting about her because I am currently reading about the Religious Wars in Europe. Elizabeth I was the daughter of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn, who became the Queen of Ireland and England. So the term politique supposedly meant someone who was more concerned about unifying the nation and country rather than focusing on just religion itself. The chapter mentioned about how William the Orange, Henry of Navarre, and Elizabeth I were all politiques.

I thought she was quite interesting because she was one who didn't want to have a husband during the time of her reign. She rejected Philip II twice and became well known ruling for nearly half the century. I also thought she was worth mentioning because she was one of those women who stayed a virgin for her entire life. She was remembered as The Virgin Queen. In other words, what an independent woman.

-picture from here
Scratch that. After I brushed my teeth, I became fully awake again. I would love to join Pocketful of Wishes, but unfortunately I have Key Club officer meetings on Mondays. I cannot sacrifice that. But I will try to attend the activities because it sure sounds like a dedicated club that is simply put out there to help and serve for the children in need. We need more people like them out there.

karneyrocks (11:51:16 PM): stupid bug i just killed one
karneyrocks (11:51:19 PM): mauhahaha die bug die
I am getting sleepy. That quote doesn't apply so much at night. When I am tired, I am actually exhausted and feel that I need the rest that I will probably not get. It's been two lengthy days of nonstop work. I am excited to give Dan his CD tomorrow. We made a pact that we will make each other mixed CDS until we are 80 years old. Hopefully this will hang around long enough to not be broken like the promise we made to blog for all 365 days on Tumblr, last year.
Happy 11th Birthday googlle.
It's not so bad when you set the time out for something to be done. Keep on the lookout for corkboard updates tomorrow.
You know, it's too bad that we missed RTC (Regional Training Conference) this weekend for Key Club. I knew I wasn't able to go somewhere inside back then. Well, I guess this weekend really made up for everything though, or at least most of the things I needed to take care of. I really focused on homework for Euro AP, Math -Analysis, and U.S. History. I even got to practice the piano and prepare for the flute audition for tomorrow. I believe I will get back to the Euro AP Study Guide later, but I will have to focus on Spanish 3 soon, or at least later in the night, tonight.

Today was a successful and productive day. I wish everyday can go by like this, with hours and hours of nonstop work starting from 5 am. Unfortunately, tomorrow will be another long week of hardcore working, thinking, and studying. But I am looking forward to going to my Euro AP class, once again.
"If you think you'll get tired, then you will get tired. If you think you'll lose, then you will lose."

- from the book Forever by Pete Hamill

Catchy

Be calm.
I know you feel like you are breaking down.
I know that it gets so hard sometimes.
Be calm.
Yesterday was one of the mellow days that I have not had in awhile. Anne, I did end up following most of the things on the list I made during school time. I cleaned my room, worked on the Euro AP study guide, read the book for U.S. History, started The Time Traveler's Wife, practiced piano, and did my English 3 homework.

Today, I will continue to work on the Euro AP study guide, read for Euro AP, start math homework, study for math, practice for flute auditions, read for Ms. Orban, and prepare for my Spanish presentation.

P.S. Forever by Pete Hamill is quite an interesting book. I am currently reading about how an Irish family struggles to survive through an environment where disguised Catholics and Irish people are not allowed. I also really like the Time Traveler's Wife. I wish I had more time to follow through, but I have to finish everything first to get to it.

I don't think I can make it to painting at Elaine's today. I wished that my parents were home. My dad is very angry with me for the things I did last week. I guess I see why.

Saturday, September 26, 2009

First thing of how-my-Saturday-will-be-spent-list will be checked in about 2 minutes.

P.S. I change my mind Jennifer. I actually think I see myself more in NorCal again. I don't know why I said the other earlier.

Neat-o Video

When We First Met
I think today I am going to make a mixed CD for Dan.

Nothing comes easy...
I am still wondering how I am going to balance such a hectic life.

Let's Backtrack to the Car Show Event from Sunday , September 20th, 2009 ...

We were at this Car Show Clean Up event for Key Club. It was actually a great turn out of about 15+ members who showed up. Thanks for all who came. [Having Costco food two days in a row for the weekend was something spectacular.]

P.S. The sundae was beyond delicious.

Finally or what?

It's currently 5 am in the morning and I have not started on my Spanish project / presentation yet. It's the project where you have to use acronyms. I feel very lucky that my name is quite short, so short that I have to include the first letter of my last name. I have a feeling that I'm going to use simple adjectives because of the time frame this time.

Yesterday, out of about 33 kids, my name was chosen to present for the Adventura summary in Spanish 3. Luckily, I prepared at 4 in the morning to memorize in time to present in 5th period.

I pretty much straight up failed my Euro AP Chapter 11 test, Ch 1. 1-1.3 quiz for Math Analysis, and Chapter 1 A for Spanish 3. All of the extra curricular activities is not working out so well enough to help me balance school work at the same time. I need to step up my game soon, or now.

Today, I just want to go home and skip out on tennis. But unfortunately, life doesn't work that way. So I will continue to deal with what I have to first. This coming weekend will consist of catching up on Wednesday's episode of Glee, maybe going to Karney's house to roast marshmallows again, Saturday School, studying for Euro AP Chapter 12 test, doing Euro AP Chapter 12 Study Guide, Math-Analysis homework, studying for upcoming math quiz, working on Spanish, and working hard for Homecoming painting/designs.

All that ice cream in my fridge won't last for long. It's brain food. Happy Friday everyone.

Thursday, September 24, 2009

Sore. Thanks a lot coach. Hello Leland today.
I really need to bring my grades back up again.

Wednesday, September 23, 2009

I don't know why, but the times are not right on my tv channels. So I ended up watching 10 minutes of Mrs. Doubtfire instead of Glee since I couldn't find it. I'll surely catch up on Glee when I have time. Tonight, I came home from tennis practice and homecoming painting. It's actually looking good and we are showing some improving progress. The paper is less wrinkled this time.

Tomorrow will be the biggest game of the entire tennis season against Leland. Today's drills were somewhat helpful, but I just have to have faith.

I've been so tired lately that I really don't know what I'm really up to anymore. I fall asleep out of nowhere in every class and these all nighters are not doing me any good. It's hard to focus and be on task nowadays. But I know I will just have to pull through somehow again.

Some people can be so shady about things. If you are not going to do something, don't lie about it.
Good game. I fell asleep. Time to cram all the math homework problems, reading for Gavino, summary for Caldera to memorize, and study for Math-Analysis test in 2 hours.

Tuesday, September 22, 2009

I could really use some sleep. I'm sure a lot of people do as well, but I just want the time to tick slower. My eyes are sore everyday and I don't know how much longer I can stay awake all night every night. The nights that I don't sleep at all, I feel more awake at school but fall asleep out of nowhere more. The nights that I rest for an hour or so, I feel more tired than usual.

We just have to keep telling ourselves that Junior year really is not that hard. It's just all about balancing time. (except there's either not enough time or I just can't ever get enough rest.)

I hope I pull it together for Spanish 3 and Math-Analysis soon.
Don't forget to attend the Key Club meeting tomorrow at lunch.
Sophomores/Juniors - D-12
Freshmens/ Seniors- E-13

See you soon.

This picture is brilliant.

here

Unnecessary things are better off put aside.
The important factors come first.
Homecoming painting is going to be a real deal this week and next week. Let's gather everyone to help us out. We pretty much need every Junior who is alive.

Yesterday's Key Club Event was actually a blast! Though many do not think that picking up trash and basically cleaning up or folding up chairs and tables can be fun, I sure do! Key Club is mainly about serving for others around you and your community. It's not helping if you take it for granted and end up doing something that you are not supposed to. Please join us on Facebook if there are any questions about the club.

I suppose it's study night tonight again. (After I buy 30+ bottles of paint and thick foam brushes for Homecoming painting tonight). See you at Michael's if you happen to be there at the same time.

Sunday, September 20, 2009

Tonight Karney, Lin, and I went out to eat at Yankee Pier to treat Lin out to her 17th birthday. Santana Row was surprisingly not packed tonight. We got some great deals at UO and ran into Asky and Justin.
There's a party in your bedroom, all night long.
Before it is too, too late, I hope you had a happy 16th birthday Jenell. I'm sorry that I was not able to say it to you in person.

Marshmallows

So this is what happened on Friday night in Karney's backyard. He had a firepit thing going on and we roasted marshmallows in 90 degrees. ( Well at least that's what it felt like). Danny was trying to tell scary stories, except they were not all that intense. Kevin attempted to tell a " Dumping Story," and that just didn't make sense. It was too bad that Trung didn't come. (But I'm still glad Lin showed up though!)

Today I went to Saturday School in the morning for 2 hours with Anne , and listened to her talk about how she skipped Revolution testing for it. When I got home, Jennifer and my brother went to buy Costco food while I practiced piano and did my theory. Later I found out that my piano make up class was actually October 3rd, instead. So that just meant that I really did cancel the entire month's worth of piano classes to attend tennis practices/games. This is all going to be worth it.

During night time, I went to a wedding after party and it was just wild. People really do come around when they are totally drunk. Where the Wild Things Are. We should totally watch that movie when it comes out.

Tomorrow there will be a Key Club event at History San Jose Park. Information is on Schoolloop and Facebook. Call me if there are any questions. See you guys there! It's going to be a clean up day!

-Jane

Friday, September 18, 2009

Hello. I am currently at Karney's house and the brothers are gambling? But he has this firepit going on right now! Way to spend a Friday night roasting marshmallows! (Kind of).
1. Euro AP test= complete
2. Spanish test= complete
3. U.S. History quiz= complete

What a week.

This is Henry VIII, the man who had 6 wives?!?!

So the time comes again when I just might have to pull another all nighter. I never seem to regret it, even though it's going to do some heavy damage to my body sooner or later. It's not entirely my fault that I have to stay up to read Chapter 11: The Reformation for Euro AP to prepare for the test tomorrow morning.

I've pretty much been busy this entire week with tennis practice and other homework. I am just finishing up the study guide as of now. As usual, the review questions are not really meant to be answered in 3-4 sentences, but rather paragraphs and paragraphs. Being the odd self that I am, I'm having a decent time learning about Protestantism vs. Catholicism. There's too much within the church. Too much as in corruption.

Again with the whole Martin Luther and the 95 theses posted on Castle Church door in Wittenburg in 1517, he was such a phenomenal figure throughout history. He was basically the person who initiated the Protestant Reformation. Genius.

John Calvin. Zwingli. Anabaptists. Anglican Church. There's so much detailed information. Though I can only remember so much, I must not forget that there will also be a U.S. History test for the locations of the 13 colonies, and a Spanish Vocab/ Body parts test to study for.

Goodnight and good morning everyone.

Thursday, September 17, 2009

Karney is currently making cupcakes because I asked him to earlier. (But really, I don't want any anymore). And I fit his black Nike socks.

P.S.

Tennis game at PHHS today vs. Westmont ( one of the biggest games ever).

Amazing crowd.

Tuesday, September 15, 2009

Wow, I check my Yahoo updates, only to find out that UO is having this immense September sale. Unfortunately, I don't think I will have the time to check it out until this coming weekend because I am currently going through another busy , occupied week.

Tonight, I finally finished writing, typing, and editing my essay. ( Including, Justin T.'s essay). I didn't really get distracted and that was the real good thing. Now, I have to complete my Spanish homework, and think of words to say if I get chosen to talk to Ms. Caldera tomorrow afternoon.

I have to paint this poster for the Powderpuff meeting as well. Tonight isn't going to end as late as I thought. Tennis went surprisingly well today due to the fact that I felt a little more determined after the lost of the challenge.

I just got a B- on my Chapter math test and a B for my last Chapters 9 and 10 test for Euro. I think I may be left satisfied for now.

Musician in the Rain

It's raining, it's pouring.
It's summer weather in my room though.

I actually just finished working on Corkboard stuff. Though it is not the best ( or it is never the best ), at least I have fully updated the things that are going on this week. So please keep track if you think the event (s) may apply to you.

I am finally going to get started on studying for math. Maybe tonight will end short if my mind suddenly works like a robot when it comes to the essay.

Heart Walk Clean Up

"In memory of..."

Another weekend is about to pass by. Another school week is going to come by. So this weekend was full of something as usual. Some interesting things actually happened within the 18 hours or more time span. I woke up early in the morning to go to piano and came back around 10:30 am to pick up Anne to go to the Heart Walk clean up event at Deanza College. There wasn't much to clean up, so we just spent about an hour walking around asking if they needed the additional help.

Not long, we met a guy named Dennis who was trying to get on the bus to get to Valleyfair. But the bus ended up leaving, and Christine and Allison both left as well. Jaime and Amy stayed back, and that left Anne, Karney, and I there. Before we knew it, another bus came and picked us up and Dennis went on the bus with us. Therefore we decided to ride to Valleyfair.

Bus fair was only $1.50 per person and that really surprised me because I'm really not a bus person! I should be though! I love the adventurous feeling. So Dennis, Karney, Anne, and I talked about school and community service on the bus until we pretty much got to Valleyfair. There, I realized I lost my $10 at Heart Walk back at Deanza. But I'm going to let it go because I assume some person with a really good heart already shared the $10 bill with someone who actually needed it.

Jennifer and my brother picked me up around 2:30 and then I went home to work on my English essay. Before I knew it again, I went to play tennis at PHHS with Raymond, Bianca, and Erica. I got to work on some volleys because we played a set , with Bianca as my partner.

Tonight, it's going to be full of work and an all nighter all over again! But first, I will shower, and then study for the Math-Analysis test because that's what's most important as of now.

Flash Mob

I actually want to attend this event on Saturday if I find the time to.
There's nothing like having a good late night talk with your best friend.

Saturday, September 12, 2009

Remember this? I do !

I think I actually remember this book when I was small. But now, it's going to be in theaters! From summer until now, we've waited long enough. We are definitely going to be there on the 18th! Or possibly the 19th, or 20th.
Dates for me, for you
Things to be noted today, next week, soon:

43-7 Pirates vs Cougars

So last night, Wind Ensemble played as the Spirit Band at the Football game. It was actually the first football game I've been to. Though we spent more time focusing on which page to flip to for our tunes we had to play, I still spent a great deal of time observing the different aspects to a high school football game. Since it was my first time attending a home football game, I'm not sure if the crowd was really all that wild and energetic. But what I did know is that there was definitely going to be a lot of trash left over. People will be people. Some just don't like to clean after themselves.

But it's okay, that's why Leadership was assigned to help clean up after the game. Though Christine and I lost our challenge match, it didn't ruin my day. I went home last night and crashed. Not badly, just crashed slightly. (Besides the fact that I have not really soaked my contacts in solution for about 2-3 days. It's still not dry yet and that's the surprising thing.)

This morning, I woke up in time to go to the first day of Saturday school. Surprisingly for that, it wasn't as bad as well. All the school supplies were provided and we didn't have to go through the first lesson of the year for the first time. No matter how many times I plan on quitting, I know that it will most definitely be worth it by the time I graduate. It wouldn't be 13 years of nothing by then.

Today, the game plan is to start my English essay, do the homework for Spanish 3, study for Math-Analysis Chapter P test, read for Euro AP, and start the study guide for Euro AP. I think it's funny that Anne calls it EHAP , since the other kids called World History AP, WHAP.

Tomorrow morning I'm going to have to go through my piano make up session at 9 am-10 am. By the time it's 10:30 am, I believe I have to attend the Heart Walk Event for Key Club from then to 3:30 pm. Hopefully I will not stay up the night doing whatever I do all the time.

Friday, September 11, 2009

30 hour survival.
2-6, 3-6 from the challenge. Sorry Santa Theresa/Westmont...
Hey check it out, there's that power drink. I'm not down on my desk yet though. Math is actually taking longer than I thought. I'll get to Espanol by 4:30 am. I know it.
I most definitely ended up watching Glee just now. It's literally the middle of the night. But there is nothing like some singing in the quiet. A cup of noodles will do, and now back to homework, work, work.

I think Google is actually slowing down on me. We're both tired.

Friday Indeed

Heart Walk event take -down staff
Date: Sunday, September 13, 2009
Time: 10:30am - 3:00pm
Location: DeAnza College, 21250 Stevens Creek Blvd., Cupertino, CA 95014

So this is the information for this Sunday's Key Club Event.

P.S. I think I finally get the brief structures of lesson P5 for Math -Analysis. My slow mind processes so slowly. It is actually 2 :33 am already. My stomach is beginning to feel a little empty. Minty-Chocolate Chip ice cream won't save me at this time.

P.P.S. It got really chilly all of a sudden.

-Props to Karney and Michelle

P.S. My room is a mess. One week can do so much.

Oh so scandalous , Henry

Henry VIII. He was the man who had six wives. There were three Annes, one Jane, one Katherine, and one Catherine. So today's period in Euro AP was literally the best period. It was full of scandalous stories of affairs and events during the English Reformation. It was too funny and sad when Ms. Davis came to the part where he was set up to marry a woman named Anne Cleves, who was a German princess. When he finally met her, he immediately demanded for a divorce. Why? Oh, we were told that she just wasn't the most appealing thing on Earth, so Henry VIII couldn't stand another minute around her.

What more? Katherine Howard, was definitely this promiscuous teenager that liked to go "bed-hopping" from time to time. She eventually got her head chopped off because it was considered to be a treason and plus she really had the nerves to cheat, cheat , cheat on the King.

P.S. It was nice adapting to a new partner today against Silver Creek in Tennis. I liked Christina as my doubles partner and the score turned out to be 6-3, 6-4. I really have a lot to work on. Thanks to everyone who came out to support though! Thanks for packing up my homework on the other end for me Lin. Thanks for the chocolate sprinkled doughnut as well. Happy Thanksgiving.
The only thing that's keeping me awake is this cold minty chocolate-chip ice cream.

Wednesday, September 9, 2009

I missed Glee tonight! Lucky Dan. I will catch up on Saturday.

George Whitefield. This was the man who sparked The Great Awakening, which was supposedly a period of heightened religious activity in Colonial America and the UK. I also learned that Benjamin Franklin was a supporter of George Whitefield as well.

You know, the Louisiana Purchase? I finally read about it. I can't believe I wasted all those days in 7th grade not listening. Thomas Jefferson eventually purchased this deal from a man named Napolean. Napolean was just too desperate for money and afraid that he'd lose his Northern American territories to the British.

P.S. Tonight, I went to Border's and bought the book Forever by Pete Hamill for my U.S. History class. Ms. Orban says that everyday, there will be 10 minutes of silent reading, and some reading done on our own. Before a month goes by, we're going to have to write a paper on it. How exciting can this get?

P.P.S. There is a tennis game tomorrow against Silver Creek High School tomorrow at 3:15! It is a most certainly a home game! Hope to see you all there!

This picture is from here.

[20:39] : I guess bitches get mean when they lose.

Haha, good one partner.
It's this crazy rush. This adrenaline rush. Or whatever rush it is called, but it definitely got to me and is still getting to me. So today it was PHHS against Leigh for tennis and our score for doubles turned out to be 6-3, 5-7 and 11-9. The last set was not a set, since it was actually up to 10 points. When it was literally 9 all, we had to win by two points. I still feel not a bit, but very jittery. It's that Kool-Aid tasting drink. Marisa, it did some good and some other stuff. Who knew this small bottle could make me feel so...

Hella. Okay come to the game this Thursday. It's going to be PHHS vs Silver Creek. I believe it will begin at 3:15 pm again home.

P.S. I never felt so good after taking a test, especially since it was for Euro AP. Though I don't know how the outcomes turned out, I still feel pretty great about the things I learned for the past two weeks. It was all worth it. No sleep all night= now awake.
Oh, Mona Lisa, one of Leonardo's great, great, great, great, works of art.

Here is something to listen to if you are up as well.

Thanks to the wise square bear Peter Vu, I think I might actually be able to pull this essay together. But it is going to be a long night full of studying and finishing up homework. See you all online.

P.S. Thank you Karney and Anne for helping me on Math-Analysis homework so late.
So that's it? That was the season finale of half of Season 2 for The Secret Life of the American Teenager? Well, I just read some spoilers online for the upcoming episodes coming in January (the 5th to be exact) and I don't know... I still think Ricky should just be with Amy. I'm like all the other people who call out for the same thing online.
A quote that Ms. Davis mentioned by Leonardo, that would supposedly sum up the entire Renaissance:

"The whole glory of man lies in activity."
- Leonardo Bruni

Oh Glee!

It is definitely coming back this Wednesday the 9th, at 9 pm on Fox. As excited as I am, I doubt I will have time to watch it. But then again, who knows, I just might. So I slept on half of my bed last night at around 3 or 4 am, without finishing reading Chapter 10 of Euro AP. But, today, I am determined to go to Target, finish math homework, and study for this Euro AP test.

It's genius Cat.

So my brother finally came back from SD today and fixed my computer right away. For some reason, it feels as good as new. Almost too new... For the past few hours, I caught up on the last three episodes of The Secret Life of the American Teenager on ABCfamily.com. I know, I know. What a great way to be throwing away valuable time on a Sunday afternoon/night when I could be reading a little bit more out of the Euro AP text. But I just couldn't resist the temptation.
I got tricked.
So it says Michaelangelo's full name is Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni. How much more interesting can this get? This famous Italian Renaissance painter, sculptor, architect, poet, and engineer has created quite a lot of master pieces. And so has Donatello, Leonardo and Raphael. I like how Raphael is usually known for his first name only. ( Which by the way, his last name is Sanzio.) Though I haven't been getting the most decent grades for the last few POV (Point-Of-View) assignments, due to some unclarified misunderstandings, I am still looking forward to learning more about what we are currently studying: The Renaissance and Discovery in Italy.

After I finish the lengthy study guide and reading tonight, I hope that leaves enough time to go over the leftover math problems I did not understand from this morning. (There are 12 that I need help on Karney and Anne, if you guys happen to be reading this line.)

Frisco in the Disco

Up until now, I didn't realize how many times I've visited SF these passed few weeks. And how fun it was to actually go into the SF souvenir shops. True, I had a pretty dull time hanging around doing nothing but listen to the music on my iPod nano with my red headphones today. But, on the bright side, my mom's friend finally found some great dresses and accessories for her upcoming wedding on the 19th of this month.

Early this morning, I went over to visit my cute grandma, who is the only person who can make the world shine as bright. She told me that she had a horrid dream last night that involved me getting kidnapped by foreign strangers. Then she said she started kicking and yelling because she was angry that my parents did not keep watch of me. But we were both glad that it was just a dream because I was indeed sitting right next to her sipping on some Green Tea.

SF, oh SF, it looks like I will have to pay you another visit next weekend.

Dan, Kimmy, I think we should watch this.

Rally if you want, serve if you can
So the rally in this case, can apply to both the rally from school this morning and the rally this afternoon. In the morning, after Ms. Macasaet's first period class, I happily walked quickly over to Ms. Gavino's class carrying my box of heavy flamboyant paint bottles, black cased flute, orange Math-Analysis book, pink Adidas backpack with racket and gear, and my brown messenger bag with my school supplies and notebooks.

I opened my black flute box and took out the nicely cut pass to show her and walked to the gym. From there, we were busy running up and down the bleachers taping this and cutting that. When the time came, our skit was probably entertaining towards the end when we all crowded around Dean, who was the purple ( our class color) spray ( axe). We used the axe commercial, if all of you are wondering. We made it so the other classes didn't smell good, but ours, who had the axe spray in his hands, did.

Not long, the day went on while I left for the tennis game around 1:30 pm. Thanks to Jimmy, he took Eileen, Onion, Catherine, and I to MHS ( Milpitas High School) for our first match. Since Christine and I were called to play Doubles 3 today, we waited until it was our turn. When the time came for that, we played for what seemed like a decade until we finally came through with a score of 6-4, and a score of 7-5 from the previous set. The "pending match" was somewhat nerve-racking at first, but the we, the jellyfishes did it once more.

The activities, commotions, and such, all ended at 6:32 pm, when I decided to not show up to the football game tonight. I think I'd rather start my homework first and then decide whether I will have time to show up to the optional tennis practice tomorrow morning at 8 am.

This weekend is going to be one heck of a study session. Trapped in a metal cage like a pet hamster, I'll be determined to keep running that hamster wheel for as long as I can.

Island of Espanola

I am posting this picture of Christopher Columbus just because I did another POV ( Point-of-view) exercise about him today. I read about the letter he sent to King Ferdinand and thought it had to be the next fabulous piece of writing yet.

Today was actually quite a busy day for me, due to being occupied by swarms of plans. We had our first get together Key Club officers meeting this afternoon at lunch in Mr. De La Rosa's new room, E-13. We went over quite a few things for the upcoming year and how we'll be able to make Key Club grow into a better club. Take note that the first meeting will be held on September 16th, 2009. Club fee for members is $7 each.

Besides all of this chit chat, after school, Lin drove Trung, Karney, and I to Hello Desserts and Costco for food. Not long, I hurried back to school and left Lin and them to help paint for the rally for Friday. I hurried home to grab my piano books and went to lessons. There, my teacher 's daughter decided to adopt two black dogs that almost looked like twins.

Right after piano, I managed to rush home to eat dinner in less than 8 minutes and go back to school in time, to help paint and do Friday's rally stuff. Tonight, I painted a few more items for the plain cork board that is currently sitting at school right now, and for the rally.

I cannot wait for the three day weekend to come!

P.S. Don't forget to wear purple on Friday!

For the passed two minutes, I had nothing in my hands but raisin bread. Good luck today.

Renaissance Art in Geometric Terms

This morning, being amazed and exhausted from the Renaissance lesson caught me off guard from a few things in my third period class of Euro AP. You see, I intended on focusing on memorizing what was important earlier through Chapter 9 with the whole Pope Innocent III and Henry IV, V, etc material. But since we began to move into the Renaissance material, I eventually got more fascinated by the phenomenal paintings by the famous artists during the time period. I thought and still think that nothing can beat this art that got projected on the overhead today.

It's a bit odd that I feel that I am going to struggle throughout this class greatly, but at the same time, I am grateful that I have this interesting extra history class, compared to taking a tedious science class that will not bring attention to my eyes or brain to whatever time of day.

So I came across to rushing home after painting for the rally a bit after school to get to the doctor's to get my physical done for Tennis, to turn in to my coach by tomorrow. After, I did the usual and redid my Math-Analysis homework due to my clumsiness of counting multiples of 3 wrong yesterday. I read The Courtier by Baldassare Castiglione and thought it was just a wonderful piece of document. I'd like to read more about it someday. It's basically about how Castiglione had acted as a courtier himself under the Duke of Urbino before , and soon decided to write about what it takes to actaully be a successful and well rounded courtier.

To end this lengthy blog, I'd say
1. Time to study for my Math -Analysis quiz for tomorrow.
2. Goodnight
3. And Karney rocks. (Genius, for helping me so quickly on math. I owe you.)

P.S.
Come help paint Rally posters tomorrow after 6th and 7th. Contact me if you are interested.

So Dan, according to Wikipedia ( the site that teachers tell us not to trust most), in this case, the 45- letter word means this:

"According to the Oxford English Dictionary, "a factitious word alleged to mean 'a lung disease caused by the inhalation of very fine silica dust, causing inflammation in the lungs.'" A condition meeting the word's definition is normally called silicosis."
