Friday has finally arrived and it came by just like that. Today or "yesterday," meaning Thursday, was the most chaotic staff collaboration Thursday I've ever had in awhile. After school, Vu and I went to the doughnut shop and he sat there keeping me company for three hours while I tried working on my Euro AP Chapter 26 and 27 Study Guide review questions. Then we walked back to school and stayed for 10 short minutes for Fantastics practice, where no one bothered to show up early. So I filmed Jennie-Lyn and left. Vu walked me all the way home and claimed that he had never been on the other side of Crater Lane.
Not long after I unlocked the lock of my white, pointy gate, my dad called and said we were going to Fresh Choice for dinner with his brother, a.k.a. my uncle. So his brother arrived from Vietnam two days ago and my dad asked him to stay in my brother's room for a couple of days while they go around touring San Jose. So getting such a late notice, I quickly washed my face and got ready. After dinner, my dad dropped me off at Target to print the 8x10 photo for Ms. Orban's U.S. history project. I waited for a good 45 minutes while gathering my scrapbook project supplies at the same time and bumped into Donnie, who tried to bribe me to attend the Independence Musical: Chicago. (I may or may not consider this). And of course, I also grabbed a box of melon mango tic tacs at the checkout. I like eating both colors at the same time. It's one of the things that actually keep me sane. I just like tic tacs.
When I got home, I immediately got to the scrapbook project for U.S. History and worked on the captions and such. Thank God for the "Scrap Pack" sold from Target. It saved me so much time from cutting the full sized construction paper I have at home. I calculated and surely after four lengthy hours of nonstop work (and 5-7 minutes of a break), I finished at 12 am. Now it is almost 1 am and luckily, I am proud to say that I am not rushing my Euro AP study guide. But now I am getting ready to study for the actual test and the "surprise" essay question. The rest of this soon-to-be-all-nighter, will consist of finishing my Euro business, English homework, and studying for another Spanish test. Wish me luck. Actually don't, I don't need luck. I need time. And tic tacs.
