2. Dean & Britta - Friday I'm In Love

Dean and Britta
I am going to buy lemons, strawberries, sugar, and make gigantic signs today for tomorrow's lemonade stand. (We are really trying to earn money for class of '11! So please support us in the student parking lot from 9 am -5 pm!) The girls' tennis team's car wash originally planned for tomorrow is now canceled due to another class's car wash. Therefore we will try to hold an upcoming one next Friday, the 24th of July.

One last thing
Her costume was definitely one of the best parts of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince! Doesn't this just make you want to try it on at least once?
If you were wondering...
This is the new black Casio camera that I just ordered from Amazon.com. I know it's not completely 5 stars material compared to others' cameras, but at least I finally got my hands on a brand new camera after how long?Today Karney, Trung, Danny, Kevin, and I had a bbq at Cataldi. Karney made the best chicken ever while Trung and I continued our frivolous games of "Fruit," a.k.a. a crazy game of made up hand signals and shouts with cards in a nutshell. Since we were missing a member of "Fruit," it just wasn't the same. I will consider uploading the spontaenous photos we took of the miniature version of a roasting piece of chicken tomorrow if my forgetful mind does not drift off again. Goodnight to all. We've survived another Thursday.

An Education
I think I'd like to see this in October.
P.S. Can you believe it? After months of counting, 500 Days of Summer comes out in just two days!
"C is for Change"
This may look like a real cookie, but it really is a coin purse.I realized that Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince comes out today, so happy- watching it!

I love Imogen Heap's latest single "First Train Home!"
(I've got to get on it) (3x)
Bodies disengaged, our mouths are fleshing over.
It's just an echo game, irises retreating
to ovals of white.
The urge to feel your face
And blood rushing to paint my handprint
A Frisbee one by one
Your vinyl on lamanent
Desperate for some kind of contact.
First train home, I've got to get on it (3x)
To Catch, to catch, catch catch catch.
First train home, I've got to get on it (3x)
First Train home
Temporal deadzone where clocks are barely breathing
Yet no one cares to notice for all the yelling
All night clamor to hold it together.
I want to play don't wait forms in the hideaway
I want to get on with getting on with things
I want to run in fields, paint the kitchen
And love someone
And I can't do any of that here, can I?
First train home, I've got to get on it (3x)
First Train home
So what? You've had one too many.
So what? I'm not that much fun to be with
So what? You've come silly hatter
So what? I didn't want to come here, anyway.
What matters you, doesn't matter, matter to me.
What matters to me, doesn't matter, matter to you.
What matters to you, doesn't matter, matter to them.
What matters to them, doesn't change anything.
Got to get on it first train home.
Got to get on it first train home
First train home I've got to get on it
(I've got to get on it)
To catch, to catch, catch-catch, catch.
(First train home)
First train home I've got to get on it
First train home.
(First train home)
To go, to go, to go
Get, get, get, get
Out, out, out, out
Now, now, now, now

I woke up early this morning to walk to Danny's house to meet up with Karney and Trung. We walked to Denny's together to get breakfast. I ordered the Blueberry Pomegranate Iced Tea which was literally the bomb. But Trung... He ordered the "Straight Up Lemon Iced Tea," which was literally "straight up" iced tea. So in other words, it tasted pretty much bland. In the end, we mixed all our leftover food together and dared each other to chug down the mud pies. Then we walked to Safeway to get marshmallow monsters, kabob sticks, Hershey bars, and other materials to make the smores in the park.
P.S. Danny, Trung, Karney, and I each won something from the Denny's menu with the scratch cards. I won a free cup of coffee. Danny won the Grand Slam. Karney won the Pancake Puppies. Trung won one selection of a delicious dessert. Basically, if added together, we actually got one fine and filling deluxe breakfast down for our next visit!

Marit Larsen-If A Song Could Get Me You
So here it is, here it goes
I could try rock and roll
I would change your life forever too
If a song could get me you
I could make it high or low
Sing it on the radio
If that is what I need to do
If a song could get me you
I could run for miles and miles
I'd take off and I'd start flying
I could cross land and sea
If you just believe me
I biked to the tennis courts at 8 only to find that practice really started at 9. Therefore, it was either between staying or leaving. Since I chose to stay, I stayed for a total of 6 hours. I think all of that sweating was enough to call it a productive day. Alex has most of the other photos from Relay for Life, so I am guessing that we will just have to continue to wait.
Also, since the Girls' Tennis Team's car wash was canceled on the 11th, we will have another one this Saturday the 18th. At the same time, Class of '11 might be holding a lemonade stand in front of the Safeway by Long's Drugs, Mcdonalds, etc as well, from 9 am-5 pm. Until then, I will update everyone as soon as I get all the information gathered together. Happy watching The Secret Life of the American Teenager, because I will have to wait until tomorrow morning to catch it online with the lack of the television difficulties.
P.S. My brother says I will not be receiving my new camera until maybe Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.

We noticed a carriage without a baby.
On a side note, after Dan left, the group and I just enjoyed the fresh KFC that my brother, dad, and Jennifer kindly brought for us. We continued having a great time playing truth or dare, or in other words, truth or truth due to the fact that everyone kept on choosing truths. What made this remarkable night memorable was definitely the shocking truths, endless late night talks, countless runs, purple and green exercise area that looked like a playground, late night movie runs, cacophonous surroundings, and the spirited people! Let me tell you, Trung and Sherry are by far the best people to spend and survive 24+ hours with! We watched the sunset all the way until the sunrise. Four cups of Hot Chocolate, one cup of House People Coffee, 12 bottles of water, and 13 trips to the public restrooms were all enough to wrap up an energetic late Saturday night and an early Sunday morning.
My Sunday morning actually consisted of packing up and walking to Stacks to get early breakfast with Trung. I'm glad that we attended this American Cancer Society event together because it was inspirational to see so many determined survivors who reminded us to be thankful for the many things that we often take for granted. Furthermore, there is absolutely no doubt that everything about this weekend was worth every single minute of my life.

Trung is on the roll!
I just realized that I came up with this horrible dare on the spot! Trung had a great time though.

"During the car ride, we listened to some Indie music while Jane played with Trung's buzz cut and I coughed up hairballs (still not quite over my cold yet). Once arrived at the track we set up all the tents and ate Sherry's nicely homemade mini blueberry muffins to satisfy our empty stomaches. We walked 12 laps before deciding to go downtown to the coffee shops and buying our iced zebra mochas (a bit too sweet) and lemon tea. However, only given an hour by our "chaperone" Alex (who let us borrow his digital SLR, but later got pissed when we got some water and smudges into it) we didn't have much time to wander around town, but we did stop by the Recycle Bookstore and a souvenir shop for a bit. When we returned everybody was playing cards, so we played a few rounds of "M&Ms" (a more complicated Spoons spinoff version) and Egyptian War. Then we played Fruits, eventually creating a whole new system and going crazy with it. Hence the title. The day ended with some intense games of balloon pop, hula hooping, and Truth or Dare. Our entire day ̶was photographed, but won't be uploaded until tomorrow."̶̶ the escapades

Patrick Wolf-The Magic Position
This song really is magical!
So let the people talk
It's Monday morning walk
Right past the fabulous mess we're in
It's gonna be a beautiful day
So do the bluebirds sing
As I take your hand
And you take my kiss
And I take the world
'Cause out of all the people I've known
The places I've been
The songs that I have sung
The wonders I've seen
Now that the dreams are all coming true
Who is the one that leads me on through
It's you
Who puts me in the magic position, darling now
You put me in the magic position
To live, to learn, to love in the major key

trailerToday was not my typical summer day due to the first sleep-in and the work-free environment, in which both, had not happened since the beginning of summer. It consisted of reading the book Hope's Boy checked out from the library, taking a quick half hour nap before going to the dentist, and watching this charming Paris related film. I hope I will be able to stop by Safeway later to gather some wheat bread and ham to make my sandwich (es) for tomorrow's lunch. See you all tomorrow morning sharp!
P.S. Don't forget to bring your guys' IDS. (This only goes for all who paid.)
