Let's call it a day
I actually spent time searching for the facts, theories, and evidence for our debate topic. So now we have officially changed our topic to being on the con side of Global Warming. I know, I know, we're not civilized people this way. But hear me out, it wasn't like there were any left over spots for us to argue about. A debate is a debate, so there is and always will be a pro and a con side. Let's just hope all goes well, especially since Jessica and I recently found some godly websites with people who argue until their very last breaths. I'm excited even more now, especially since we will not be judged by our oral speech performances, but just the printed out sheets that we have to hand in on the day of. But still, watch out, World War III is about to begin on June 4th, 2009.
This bike makes me want to visit the zoo and see a real giraffe. I would say to visit Happy Hallow this upcoming summer, but apparently it won't be opened again until March of 2010. That is one heck of a long time to go. So next stop, San Francisco Zoo.
I Miss Polaroid Film Too...
I've been wondering what had happened to Polaroid film as well. They became extinct all of a sudden. Good thing A Cup of Jo helped reveal some real messages. Hopefully things will come around and they will make more. But for now, I'm still looking forward to buying them from Heather.
Is Anybody There has been out for one whole month and fourteen lengthy days. I can't wait any longer! Someone take me to go see Up soon too. It's too bad Dan and I popped out the lens from our Real D glasses. But without them, we would have never had only the coolest lens-less black rimmed glasses. I suppose that it's a good thing that the movie theaters always provide more than enough.
*I still want to get colored headphones.
What's the 411? Man with 21 Kids
So I was over at my Grandma's, and I was watching CNN News. It made me realize how much I've been missing out all these years, thinking that the news was just filled with dull, and unenterprising reports. Fortunately, it has obviously changed my thoughts around. There was the Tennessee man Desmond Hatchett who had 21 kids. Yes, 21 kids! ( But luckily, it's not just one woman, or that'd be crazy.) But what's crazier is that he had it with 11 different women. Shoot, the man's on the roll. On the other hand, there was the deer that hopped silghtly three feet over a police's car. Imagine having a psycho, (but cute), gorilla jumping on top of your window shield pounding to get in. So I see they posted up all the videos of the deer caught on tape. It was funny how the cop said something like, "I'm not sure whether it was the deer that was more afraid or myself more." Skipping ahead, what is it with the whole "Friends For Change" thing on Disney Channel? Maybe the Disney system has paid Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, and Demi Lovato to become "good" or what seems to be "good" friends on tv, since news has been spreaded earlier that Miley Cyrus and the others had issues. But this just makes it harder for Jessica and I to do our debate topic, especially since we are the CON side for Eco-Friendly biz. Either way, I am three problems away from finishing my Chapter 13 Review homework for Algebra 2. I will proceed to the Chapter 13 Test for more review later.

I Spy Earth, Waves, Piano, BBall...
Wow, this looks great! I assume that this is really from the School Beautification event from 9am-4 pm yesterday. Now I wish I had gone, but I had to take care of my other hectic things. I am going to rush to school tomorrow to see this for myself. Relay for Life is coming up so soon in Campbell, well in July. But I am too excited to even think about the fact that it's actually another event overnight (besides DCON, that is). It's supposedly a charitable event that's 24 hours to let you walk around and around until your feet fall off , while donating money and supporting the existing survivors out there, who have Cancer. I realized that I keep wanting to try the Orchard Valley Coffee shop in Campbell and take another visit to Rasputin as well. So I will leave further plans behind. Although school is quickly going to wrap up in just about two weeks, I still won't believe it. Well, I don't know whether to say I believe that it's coming as fast as a rocket star with all the frantic work in between or that it's not coming "that soon" because it somewhat is for the fact. This is not the art of being indecisive. But if we had the chance to shoot ourselves instantaneously, then I'd rather live than miss out.
Happy last day of May to all.

Cardboard Horses
This amazing lady made hundreds of different cardboard horses starting from the year of 2006. I want to be her friend. This makes me want to make them as well. Today I took my Saturday School final. It was easy peasy after studying all night and all morning. If everything in life was as simple as an overnight study, then that would just be wonderful. Unfortunately, we still have a matter of days before our actual break begins. Hang in there guys.
P.S. The second one a.k.a. the circled orange splattered one, from the first row of the Spin Art is mine.

Cupcakes, Pomegranate Tea, Just Married
It all paid off. After nights of providing so much time and effort, everything eventually paid off because now you guys will be looking at Class of 2011's new President and Treasurer! Dan and I were so relieved after all the suspenseful moments of waiting under the hot and humid weather during Club Day. Oh, I picked up some nice Indian bangles at the Indian booth that don't fit me. But the flamboyant colors just blew me away.
Tonight, I will be going to the Family Fun Night to help out with the festival overall with the booths, and I will be back around 8 pm to get ready to study for my Saturday school Final.
*Didn't Crumb by Crumb just set up the neatest table?

Tag You're it
Now if you're a Curious Colin, I spent over two to three hours for every set of tags I made, for a total of about 242.
Tomorrow will be Club Day and I have to prepare four bags of icy cold ice in one cooler for the Pomegranate Tea, and the other for something else. I hope you guys attend the Link Crew meeting with me tomorrow at lunch, but I am doubting whether I should go or not, because after all, tomorrow will be the OFFICIAL VOTING DAY! Speeches went rather edgy today. I suppose they weren't really what I expected them to be.
* I haven't read My Lobotomy since Monday.
* I only ate half of my apple today. The rest is still in the plastic bag.

Don't fret, don't sweat, it's all set
As soon as the clock struck 7 am, I jumped out of bed to start Algebra 2 homework. Today's plans were plentiful. First thing, I went thrift store shopping. I would have called Vickie, except my grandma came along, so I didn't want to make it too much of a troublesome hassle. Therefore, while she and my mom went grocery shopping, my dad dropped me off at the thrift store. Boy was it crowded, especially since it was Memorial Day with those millions of shoppers strolling around slowly but with quick hands. The sound of the earsplitting hangers bothered me. I picked up a few floral dresses for the season, Tuesdays with Morrie, and a new Indian-styled belt.
Unfortunately, I was close to a time frame, so I rushed over to the gas station that Sherry wanted to schedule car washes at, and the manager wasn't there after three long hours of waiting. Perhaps I will just call again this afternoon or tomorrow after school.
Then I went to have tea and went to Michael's afterward to buy more butcher paper. My jaunty mom was all satisfied because she bought some really cheap pink summer flip flops at the counter. As soon I finished getting what I needed to purchase, I headed over to Target to get the blue Painter's Tape that we "must" use for the gigantic posters. I reached home around 1 pm and started laying out the posters, paint bottles, paintbrushes etc. I am now going to continue my weekend homework and studies, finish painting, and go play tennis after 5 pm.
*I haven't had one of these relaxing, joyous, and comforting weekends in so long, especially since everyone hasn't had the chance to take the time off within the lengthy year of 2008-2009.
*Horray! The Hills will be on tonight! [ That is, if I have the time.]

Power of the Pals
There are the days when we have our up sides. There are the days when we have our down times. There are the days when we feel our lethargic senses of energy disintegrating. But fortunately, every ghastly soul has a pleasant heart and every gloomy mood has its turning point. Well, today was my day of happiness.
Luckily, Dan and Kimmy came over today. We tempted to work on the campaign posters in which we did, but we headed off to Denny's for breakfast at 11 in the morning instead after awhile. Surprise, or no surprise? My workaholic dad was actually home today. So he drove us to Mcdonald's at first, but they stopped their breakfast runs at 10:30 am. That's why we headed over to Denny's. There is no joke that their roundish looking plates can fulfill a human's half empty/ half full stomach in less than 15 minutes. Maria, our server, was kind and helpful, so in the end, we left the tip of the receipt and scratched out, "Thanks Maria!" The strawberry milkshakes weren't quite the hot stuff, but we still enjoyed ourselves.
When we got back, we watched a bit of The City of Ember and then decided to go biking. Our first destination was Pennetencia Park. After several rounds of cruising around the park, we stopped by 7-11 to check if there were any Polaroid film left. Chances were, there were not. So we biked all the way up to the dazzling Tapioca Express to get multiflavored milk teas with pearls, instead of the cold and icy ice cream from Baskin Robbins.
Not long, we biked back to Cataldi Park, since my dad's friends were holding a random BBQ party. But the three of us decided to go around to take pictures with Mother Nature rather than eat burnt chicken and steak. After the two of them left, I headed over to the tennis courts to play some lazy night tennis. My lethargic mood was seriously crushing my desires to play any sort of hardcore tennis. Overall, I have to say that today was one heck of an adventurous Sunday morning/afternoon! We sure captured enough of all the sunny city air in one whole day. So until next week, we will be back again before you know it.
*I started the first 45 pages of My Lobotomy.
*I hope your Disneyland trip went well Jenell!

I found this on Flickr. Isn't this just fantastic? I wish I could take the time to draw something as amazing as this. (Pst, guess what place this looks like before clicking on the link.)
Not Schlinder's List, but My List:
So, this late afternoon, I decided to pick up:
- My Lobotomy by Howard Dully and Charles Fleming
- The Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides
- The Lazarus Project by Aleksandar Hemon
- A few items from Michael's
Obama's Election is over, so now what?
It's going to be a busy weekend, but every busy weekend includes a break somewhere. I really enjoyed The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn movie. I suppose the book was decent itself. The Reader was quite depressing and rather lengthy of a film. All I have to say is that the secret that Hannah Schmitz held wasn't all that enigmatic. So maybe I will just leave the book behind until next time.
*The soreness from tennis is coming through every inch of my body again.
*I never congratulated Lin for passing her license test! So, congrats!
