What if this was The Grass Castle? The storyline might have not changed, but the castle that Jeannette's father wants to build will completely be made out of grass and not glass. So is a bag of things really counted as one thing? Can you really own a star? On page 90, she talks about how her father despises the other kids' stupidity of thinking that Santa is real even though all their toys almost say "made in Japan" every year. I'm definitely devoted to this memoir. Oh, and have a Happy Mother's Day to all you lovely mothers out there!
