Don't fret, don't sweat, it's all set
As soon as the clock struck 7 am, I jumped out of bed to start Algebra 2 homework. Today's plans were plentiful. First thing, I went thrift store shopping. I would have called Vickie, except my grandma came along, so I didn't want to make it too much of a troublesome hassle. Therefore, while she and my mom went grocery shopping, my dad dropped me off at the thrift store. Boy was it crowded, especially since it was Memorial Day with those millions of shoppers strolling around slowly but with quick hands. The sound of the earsplitting hangers bothered me. I picked up a few floral dresses for the season, Tuesdays with Morrie, and a new Indian-styled belt.
Unfortunately, I was close to a time frame, so I rushed over to the gas station that Sherry wanted to schedule car washes at, and the manager wasn't there after three long hours of waiting. Perhaps I will just call again this afternoon or tomorrow after school.
Then I went to have tea and went to Michael's afterward to buy more butcher paper. My jaunty mom was all satisfied because she bought some really cheap pink summer flip flops at the counter. As soon I finished getting what I needed to purchase, I headed over to Target to get the blue Painter's Tape that we "must" use for the gigantic posters. I reached home around 1 pm and started laying out the posters, paint bottles, paintbrushes etc. I am now going to continue my weekend homework and studies, finish painting, and go play tennis after 5 pm.
*I haven't had one of these relaxing, joyous, and comforting weekends in so long, especially since everyone hasn't had the chance to take the time off within the lengthy year of 2008-2009.
*Horray! The Hills will be on tonight! [ That is, if I have the time.]
