What time is it? 8 am... 8:37 pm...So I don't exactly know how great or successful the Leadership car wash today, because Dan and I spent most of the time on the other side of the Saturday Farmer's Market. Today was a little bit more interesting because some Boy Scout Troop set up a mini flea market-like sale on the other side of the parking lot. Therefore, this made the entire area more enthusiastic and exciting.
In my opinion, selling Kirkland water and cans of soda (SunKist, 7-Up, and Root Bear) came in as a handy-dandy way of earning money for the Junior Class of 2011. I had a wonderful time walking up and down , advertising with the heavy red cooler. We even handed out a few icy, cold water bottles to the singers, Mr. Fish Guy, and including Lisa, the lady who agreed to let us sell at the market.
Coming back was not a drag at all. I quickly ate lunch and waited for Dan and Kimmy to come over. It's like camping everyday in my garage when we plan to work on Homecoming painting. We eventually stop everything and just roll around with my brother's old skateboard, Jennifer's scooter, and such. 13 and Fruits come in use when a tempting deck of 52 cards lay in front of your eyes.
The night ended with some helpful tips for tennis from Mr. Tim at Cataldi, once again.
P.S. If you are ever on the verge of quitting, never quit.

Toilet paper roll? Check.
Big calculator? Check.
Phone list? Check.
After the Link/Pirate Crew training today, Dan and I walked back to my house to get some Homecoming stuff done. Everything will still be a surprise until some psycho freak spreads the word. Hopefully, we will not have to come down to that. Surprises are good. Surprises are fun.
In between, Calvin came over and watched Dan and I play the keyboard and red electric guitar in my brother's room. At the same time, we were searching up signs about when a girl/ guy likes a guy/girl. We were just being curious cats.
Let me tell you, Wiki, eHow, and all those other sites, made no sense to us. So we just decided to pick up the phone to start calling Karney to test the tips. (They didn't work out by the way.)
Not long, we recorded random shouting and yelling. Then I decided to make up a dumb scary story on the spot while Calvin started to record. If it ever gets posted, thank you for your time. But first of all, it's not going to be worth your time.
After all of this, I followed the schedule beneath, and went to the optometrist to pick up the new contacts that I've ordered weeks ago. There, it turned out that I had to wait for a newer pair to come, since the right eye didn't fit as well as it used to.
So, knowing that it was blurry, I still went to tennis after anyway, with Karney and Vincent. Calvin should have been there. But instead, this man who has been playing there daily, noticed us and asked if he could warm up with us. Later, I questioned this guy about tennis and if he was willing to give lessons. Luckily, he said... no. Okay I am kidding. He said yes, of course!
P.S. If you were wondering, the video beneath, is fake, meaning the effects were changed on the computer. But, that , was pretty interesting, wasn't it?

This, this is summer time fun, with butcher paper.

Be careful, don't drop your kids
Sunny, hot, nice, warm, wonderful, delightful, cheerful... weather. Surprisingly, SF was not a bit chilly. Today, my dad drove my mom, her friends, and I to SF to look for bridal gowns for her friend's upcoming marriage. For one thing, it is very tiring to wait for someone to try on dresses after dresses. For another, " three to four hours" really means about seven hours plus of waiting. In between, I came across this Spongebob kite that I wanted to purchase, but then a mean kid around the age of 10 snatched it out of my hands saying that he saw it first instead. Other than that, I also talked to a stranger while waiting. This guy told me about his tragic childhood stories ( like the ones that you normally hear on television). Though I was taught to not talk to strangers, I still did. Sometimes things can get interesting.
P.S. Tomorrow, don't forget about the Leadership Orientation. Bring 3 dollars for food, snacks, and drinks.
P.P.S. One more time: Being early is on time. Being on time is late. And being late is f*cked.

My oh my, you won't even have to guess what I did today. Painting. Homecoming painting. There are 9 themes in our entire big theme. With no doubt, each theme does take up about one whole summer day with no procrastination in between or whatsoever. Luckily, today Dan and Kimmy brought the old measured butcher paper and paintbrushes over. At the same time, Calvin hopped the fence to help paint also. That was three days in a row. I owe it to you buddy.
Each time we work on painting an enlarged picture or background, there are at least four or more people helping out. I don't know how to thank you guys enough. I can feel the anxiety crawling through my skin day by day. Class of '11's Homecoming week is definitely going to turn out to be something. Something unexpected. Something phenomenal.
P.S. I would post the picture of the leftover watered paint we used to paint over my red bricks, but I respect the drawings of Kimmy's privacy.
P.P.S. Don't even worry, I have not quit tennis yet, Coach. So please, don't go telling everyone that I quit.

This morning, Karney, Michelle, Anne, and I watched The Hangover. I actually really liked the movie. Then we biked to Lee's Sandwiches to supposedly get Yolee's, the yogurt place inside Lee's Sandwiches, but I ended up ordering some drink. I specifically asked for Thai iced tea but I ended up getting the Taro Smoothie with pearls due to some confusion.
When we got back, we started to work on some more Homecoming painting. Calvin eventually hopped the fence and came to help me tape the pieces of butcher paper. Long came awhile after to help with some more painting. Honestly, this is the weather I am talking about! There is nothing like another wonderful day full of hardcore painting and drawing underneath the heated sun.
P.S. I cannot wait to go to the Leadership Orientation!
P.P.S. Too much ice cream can make you feel funny.

Paper Heart comes out today! I am still so sad about Edwin leaving to L.A. , but hopefully Vickie and I will be able to catch the film this weekend or so. With everything happening, I need to go to Border's to get some books to get some early studying/reviewing down. On a side note, Homecoming decorations are due in 17 days. There really isn't one single day to waste. Lastly, shouldn't this chunk of skin on my foot be healing by now?!

Now that you've imagined yourself being at the heavenly tennis courts (at Cataldi), now imagine yourself getting ready to bike to another destination.
You just finished brushing your teeth and eating the Frosted Flakes you momentarily poured into the white cereal bowl. Four minutes later you search frantically for your black and yellow bike lock. You find only one piece. Where are the other pieces? Where is the bike key? You find them.
You hurriedly bike to the place without thinking or looking back if you closed the garage or not. When you reach your destination, you quickly set your black backpack you just slung over your shoulder maybe 10-15 minutes ago, onto the cold, hard floor and pick up a ripped up rag. You greet the others and start cleaning.
You start cleaning shelves, chairs, tables, windows, and more. Spraying here and there, you scrub the dirt and dust off with your rag. So where are you and what is your job here? This is certainly not the 5 star hotel you want to be at, or the 2-story house you dream of living in. Don't worry, you are not the maid here.
This is the library. This is the Key Club project I decided to commit to, every Wednesday morning for volunteer service, for the rest of the summer.
It's no wonder that the library is always looking so glossy now and then, yes?

My eyes cannot get any more sore and tired. My entire body is simply exhausted. Today has been another one of those work-hard-study-hard days-with-a-little-adventure-here-and-there. I woke up early this morning only to get my tiny little hopes up to go play some early tennis at Cataldi. But I ended up studying for the SATS.
I have to say that a stranger would say that reading articles after articles can be deciphered as restraining myself from the full length of the sophomore summer freedom I should be getting and enjoying. But no. It was actually motivating, knowing the fact that I was probably going out somewhere later in the day, except not knowing where, after I finished studying.
Guess where I ended up going? You wouldn’t have guessed it, because I went to the library. Yeah, “nerd bird” makes sense to you now doesn’t it? I figured that I haven’t checked out a decent fiction book for quite awhile, so I walked there to pursue that desire I had for the afternoon. When my dad came home from work, he took me to go school supply shopping at Target.
Knowing that most people had already gone, I still shared that same desire to go every last month of the summer before school actually starts. Of course, I picked up some pens, lead pencils, Polymer erasers, binder paper as the usual. Coming back, I had the urge to play tennis until night again. Since there were no spots at Cataldi, Calvin, Vincent, and I rallied at the courts until night. We attempted to watch movies on Calvin’s iTouch, but we just ended up chatting away about our random thoughts again.
P.S. The parachute was built by Leonardo Da Vinci in 1515.

Imagine yourself standing in the middle of this colossal place, where it is surrounded by lots of enthusiastic people. Here and there, you hear them yelling, screaming, laughing, and making all sorts of other noises.
You feel like you are at the jungle, not catching monkeys, fishes, or dragons, but being surrounded by that kind of peace and satisfaction. Kudos to you and your pals for the nice shots.
When that circular object rolls diagonally across the green floor towards you, instead of kicking it with your tired legs, you pick it up and start hitting all over again.
This is not the strip club. This is the tennis court that you enjoy playing at most. This, is my kind of strange inner peace.

Three traditional British telephone boxes
The new header picture of the telephone boxes are by xxxrmt.
Jessica Chalker, you have one of the most amazing voices I've ever heard!
"And the sun will shine
And we'll make the most of life
Come, we haven't got much time
As all living things must die
But I will nurture you
'Til your petals turn to white
And you will hold me close
Until the last drop of me dries"
You and me
We have each other
And that's all we need
The place I'll call my home
Is anywhere that you will be
You and me
(should be) MAY never make a mark on the shape of history
But I'm glad you came to make your mark on me"

Michael Cera and Charlyne Yi, cute or what?
When the world turns down on you on one day, you just have to believe that better things will come the following day. I say this because my computer is now fixed thanks to my brother who has put up with my clumsiness for so many years, the new debit card will arrive in four business days, and I just got new red headphones to replace the old broken ones. I don't know whether to call all of this luck or not, but at least now I can go back to being jubilant, instead of moping through a feeling of emptiness for countless hours all day.
Today was not quite the usual due to all three of the issues solved. But in the morning , Jennifer's parents, Jennifer, and my family went out to eat at this place in Fremont in the afternoon. After, I just went home to add songs into my iPod nano. I haven't been able to get the full 8 hours of sleep that a healthy teenager should be getting, but hopefully I will make that up soon.
P.S. Actually, tomorrow I am waking up early to go play tennis at Cataldi. See you all there!
P.P.S. Happy August 1st! (24 more days until the first day of school again!)
