(Scene from Sunshine Cleaning)

Now that you've imagined yourself being at the heavenly tennis courts (at Cataldi), now imagine yourself getting ready to bike to another destination.

You just finished brushing your teeth and eating the Frosted Flakes you momentarily poured into the white cereal bowl. Four minutes later you search frantically for your black and yellow bike lock. You find only one piece. Where are the other pieces? Where is the bike key? You find them.

You hurriedly bike to the place without thinking or looking back if you closed the garage or not. When you reach your destination, you quickly set your black backpack you just slung over your shoulder maybe 10-15 minutes ago, onto the cold, hard floor and pick up a ripped up rag. You greet the others and start cleaning.

You start cleaning shelves, chairs, tables, windows, and more. Spraying here and there, you scrub the dirt and dust off with your rag. So where are you and what is your job here? This is certainly not the 5 star hotel you want to be at, or the 2-story house you dream of living in. Don't worry, you are not the maid here.

This is the library. This is the Key Club project I decided to commit to, every Wednesday morning for volunteer service, for the rest of the summer.

It's no wonder that the library is always looking so glossy now and then, yes?
