I took my fisheye camera around downtown this sunny afternoon and took a couple of snapshots after getting Togos for lunch with Anne. We studied at the MLK library for a bit, but we eventually ended up going back to the plaza to study outdoor. Anne was nice enough to go over Chapters 4.1 - 4. 4 for me within an hour. The 7 hours spent in downtown included being in Philz Coffee studying as well. This time, I tried " Soooo Good," with a medium sweet touch to it. It was definitely sooo good. Tomorrow I will wake up in the morning... feeling like Jane-willy and finally be 17.

It's not my birthday just yet. But tonight was one of the best nights ever! I haven't had a surprise birthday gathering for years and I forgot how nice it was to actually have people attend something for me, for once, and not the other way around. I am really grateful to have these people around my life all the time and nothing can change that fact this time.

Jenell, Dan, and Kimmy came over in the afternoon and we went downtown to pick up my cake at Bijan's Bakery. After picking up the cake with no trouble at all, the three of them were nice enough to go to Philz Coffee with me and of course being a coffee addict, I purchased a very sweet cup of New Manhattan from Philz Coffee. 5 Stars goes to a very delicious cup of roasted coffee. Not long, we went to Pasta Pomodoro and got seated. When the dinner was over, all of us walked over to Border's to the usual hangout spot. In there, I cheated and opened my gifts before my birthday because they asked me to. But thank you guys for all the gifts and making tonight something memorable. And special thanks to Jenell, for putting all of this together.

The Return of the Wild Thing(s)

So Dan drew this half lion, half octopus creature on his folder. I decided to let it join the darker forces and worked with the background a little bit to make it glow. Now it looks more powerful doesn't it?

I'd like to show you guys what I've been up to at almost 1 in the morning, but unfortunately the USB connector is not lighting up again. I was basically working on cork board notifications because I am aware that our board currently looks like a 5-year old doodle board.

Tonight, I managed to practice piano, finish my English Study Guide, research for the Point-of-view Exercise for Euro AP, understand Spanish homework, and complete most of my double entries for English. On the other hand, I walked in my bathroom earlier and saw this creepy crawler hiding underneath the mirror. Arachnophobia- Fear of Spiders. That's me. So I walked out pretending like I did not see it and sat back down and wondered if I will be eating it tonight since they say that humans eat spiders at night without knowing. After I painted for the cork board, I went in to wash my paintbrush, forgetting that I saw Mr. Creepy Crawler earlier. And then... I saw it hiding in the corner when I closed the door. This time, I prayed that it wouldn't get to my room tonight to find its way through my stomach regardless of the fact that average humans eat this certain amount of spiders a night or not.

Bikes are honestly all I could really draw. So I decided to make my friend Ellie a birthday card just now, because I wanted to at least show her that I appreciate her presence in my English class and that she makes excellent UStream Videos. It's brave of someone to perform live at a certain time everyday online to me.

On top of this, the past few days have not been the worst, but things are still moving by one step at a time. We eventually drifted ourselves back into the 90's theme for Fantastics due to the lack of people showing up to our practices after school. I am not angry or upset by any of this because everything is merely done for the school activities and for our own class benefits. So since there's supposedly a reason for everything, I won't have any doubts about this.

Another thing is that I don't know if it's just me or not, but Euro AP is getting more and more interesting everyday. The great thing is that our 35-year-old teacher Ms. Davis knows how to crack the funniest jokes and be bitter about certain historic leaders' pasts. We were going over nationalism today and she said think of it as if the "patriots were on steroids." I like the way she words things for some reason. If we got to choose which teachers to serve for the take-a-teacher-to-lunch for CSF, I'd definitely choose either Ms. Davis, Ms. Hewitt, or Mr. De La Rosa. Hands down right now for the best teachers on campus.

And you may find it odd that I keep some of my paintbrushes in a half cut water bottle. But that's just the way I live my life with things.

Yesterday was an interesting one. But then again, everyday is an interesting one to me regardless of the good or bad outcomes. I woke up early yesterday morning to go running and it definitely felt great to be on the run again. And 10,000 points goes to the sun being out and all. It was like the destination points ahead of me kept stretching farther and I just kept telling myself to keep going even though I was dreadfully tired. No pain no gain right?

Usually when I am on the run, my mind is either all cluttered with thoughts or filled with no thoughts at all. In yesterday's case, I ran passed three schools, three tennis courts, two parks, two 40+ aged buddies flying electronic dragons or airplanes together, my boy Rob (well just my mailman at the gas station), some yoga ladies, and my tennis coach. But through all the sites and people I passed by, there were absolutely no thoughts that ran through my mind.

So maybe Jam was right with the whole thing about how everything is a two-way road. Now that I think about it, even a dead end has two possible ways to it: one being the dead end, and the other would be turning back to head home of course. But that's just how I would see it. Ms. Caldera always says, "Life is already complicated. Don't make it more difficult." Agreed?

Tonight we went to the Gala night at American High with Jam, Johnson, Lin, Jenell, Dan, Sherry, Ryan, and Anne. There were some interesting performances and I am glad that I spent an entire day with Jenell. After the event, we went to... Border's! (straight to the Astrology section, don't even have to ask.) I ordered the Hazelnut Coffee at the cafe along with a few bags of what I always put in: sugar. The last stops of the night consisted of Wing-Stop fries for Jenell (which tasted like sweet sugar fries from In N' Out!) and Johnson and Ryan racing back to Sherry's house. There's nothing like a Friday night with these keepers.

P.S. Look at that Cat woman book. It's possibly the future me. As for the Vampire book, it just consisted of maybe a million pages.

So we went over to Bill's Cafe for breakfast this morning and I ordered some delicious Blueberry Waffles along with a small bowl of fresh fruits. Jenell ordered the Banana Pican Waffles. I also had two cups of coffee and a glass of really pulpy OJ a.k.a. orange juice. Now this is what I call the perfect Friday morning.

P.S. We saw David there!

Before I head out with Jenell and her grandpa a.k.a. Mr. Ikeda in a few minutes, I will leave you guys with this mix CD cover I drew for her. You guys can figure how to draw toothpaste on your guys' own later because I really don't know how to myself.

Ready if you're ready

Meet Manchester (He's just a creature that came to my mind at 1 am a few days ago.)

Landon Austin-Waitin'

Looking at this makes me want to restock the film for my camera.
The Wolfman

This morning went rather well. I practiced my piano test songs before Kevin came by. We went to get Jamba Juice instead of Starbucks for a change and I ordered the Pomegranate Paradise only because I couldn't decide to choose between the strawberry or peach flavors. That's what I do often though. When I cannot choose between two things that I might like, I end up choosing something completely different. The Wolfman was a 6.1. 6.0 because even though it was intense at some parts, it still contained the same typical storyline of what a werewolf story would be like. (You know, like when werewolves bite people's heads off at night) And .1 because Emily Blunt was in it. Ms. Davis would have liked this movie. Maybe.

On the other hand, my shoulder is starting to hurt less and... I need to get some Key Club stuff together later.

To Sherry
Now Ben and Olivia look amazing here.

Tonight I drew a creature that has a body of a horse, spots of a cheetah, and signs of a cow. I wish I could show you guys my nonsense, but unfortunately, the pictures won't load. So I will leave you guys with a wild imagination for now. But don't get too wild because it's not that crazy at all. Jenell aka Jay-Z fell asleep on me this time on webcam, and it is currently 1:26 am. Why am I not exhausted? I think I'll throw in The Devil Wears Prada in the background then.

Tuesday, February 16, 2010

So if you ever wonder what I do at 1-2-3 am on some (only some) nights, this is where I'll be at. They could either be all about coffee or.. sometimes just another webcam party.

So I got this picture off Google.com just now because I don't know where else to find one. Tonight, I went to see this movie with Johnson, Jasmine, and Vivian. I'd say this was a 5.9/10 because it was another touching movie for people who like to tear up. But the overall storyline was pretty interesting, since there were a few unexpected parts. And if you know me, I am always on the lookout for unexpected scenes since I believe that the most exciting parts of a movie are usually the ones that I would have never thought of on the spot.

I spent this morning trying to recover from a sore body and cleaning the living room for the two monks my mom brought home. I also noticed that my mom had been nurturing a cactus plant in the backyard.

Happy "I secretly admire the fact that you exist" day (quoted by Johnson) , aka not literally Valentine's day to me. Today was the perfect day to go down to Lake Tahoe to go snowboarding. You guys, I think I found a new hobby.
