Otherwise, the Great Pumpkin will come after you. Or don't take too much candy when the sign on the door tells you to take one piece. You never know if a school principal with proportionally shaped rectangle, black, and dark rimmed glasses, could come after you, with a sharp knife hidden inside a chocolate bar wrapper. Be careful kids.
So tonight, Kevin brought Trick or Treat, the movie, over and the group watched it together in Lin's living room. Overall, I thought the storyline was pretty good because of the resemblance to a detailed outlined comic book. But let me tell you guys, it was not a scary movie. The interesting thing was that there were three different parts of the movie all connected to one storyline. I have to admit that it might have been at least a pretty decent movie to watch since it did keep everyone fumble jumbled until the end when everything started to tie together and make sense.
I found it funny that Eric kept on holding onto me because of his fear of scary movies. But that just made me feel more strange being someone who never expressed much while watching horror films. That's the thing, I never seem to get phased by any of these epic or terrifying scenes. The honest truth is that I just don't believe in such things. Every time there is some kind of extreme action going on, the first two things that run through my mind are: how many times these actors and actresses had to film the scenes and how these people came to make the scenes so captivating. These horror films seem to bring the excitement out of me every time. So if you have a scary movie in mind to watch, bring it.
On another note, I love group hangouts.
I should head to bed now because my eyes feel like they are on fire. Have a safe and happy Halloween tomorrow night everyone!

I know it's fall when...my lips start turning dry and I start looking for my strawberry Kool-Aid chapstick.
I think...that 96.5 should not be playing Dynamite on the radio at the moment, but instead some other seasonal song. But then again, there aren't exactly many songs about Fall. Or are there?
Tonight's Fall Music Concert... went successful towards the end of our last Wind Ensemble piece.
I cannot wait... for tomorrow! Tiff is coming over at 6 in the morning to get our surprise together early.
I hope... everyone cheers up and stops the depression over the SAT scores soon.

Halloween is around the corner...
Today the Bloomers Club made Halloween cupcakes for all of the club members at lunchtime. The general ed got to help the kids put the frosting and sprinkles on the chocolate and vanilla cupcakes. Everyone had a great time decorating their cupcakes and watching Iron Man on DVD at the same time, so that got me super excited thinking about Halloween. Today I also realized that I have not quite fulfilled my job as secretary this month due to the fact that the peer-buddy project has not yet started. Therefore I am really hoping that more school related events will pile up in the mean time, so I can finally get the scheduled outings going!

i love mickey don't make fun of mickey mickey is the best
i love mother don't make fun of mother mother is the best
My mother urged me to get a new watch a few weeks ago, but I told her that I had long put myself on shopping probation. So she went ahead and pulled out a new one. Though for the past few weeks I had been somewhat of a bitter melon about the Mickey watch not being the same as my big round watch with that one zebra print I've worn for two years, I suppose I finally realized today that it was kind of nice to have something new and not cracked for once. So thank you, mother. I apologize for taking so long to appreciate this Mickey watch along with your thoughtfulness.

This is Khaled. He is one of the cutest ones in the Special Ed P.E. class. This is his mini smile. When he does his big smile, he smiles so big that he shuts his eyes and and holds his big smile for a good 3 seconds every time. |
