the special things in life

Today is Khaled's sweet 16th birthday. The rest of the Special Ed kids sang Happy Birthday after their last game of soccer in this unit. There are two equally sweet pictures here. One is little Hanh giving Khaled a hug. The other is proof of Amy actually showing the sweet side of her when she feels happy. I'm glad that Khaled's birthday made her smile. It also makes me happy that everyone in this period likes each other in the end, no matter what happens.
