Day 05 - A picture of your morning

the grass is always greener when..

This is the picture that I took while sitting and waiting in front of the SJSU Event Center with Lin. It just so happened that a happy biker passed by at the moment, so I caught her in the picture as well. Today was a busy graduation day.

At 7:30 am this morning, I walked out in the sunny, summer-y weather, to the donut shop to meet up with Miley Cyrus. Well, okay Chad. I purchased a bottle of Green Lipton tea, a chocolate donut, and a glazed donut. We had a very settled talk about just everything, which was nice.

Lin's brother picked me up at the gas station and then he took us to the Event Center. Being early, Lin and I walked around Downtown and reached the decision to get a light breakfast snack from Mcdonald's. Getting back to the Event Center, the Junior Honorees actually didn't have to do much since all the jobs that were handed over really only required three people at max. So being the band geeks, Mrs. Jones directed the four of us, who are in band, to go hang out in the Band area. So Jeremy, Meg, Lin, and I just helped align the diplomas in stacks of 12, set up the number of chairs for the band, and sat around watching all 508 names being called one by one during practice.

With no ride back in the afternoon, Lin and I took the light rail to Great Mall and got Chipotle-to-go. While trying to get back to SJSU, we encountered quite a few dirty old men. So when we finally reached the Event Center for the millionth time, we quickly slipped on our white gowns and ran to the band area and set up our instruments.

If it weren't for the small cup of Orange Juice from Mcdonald's, bottle of Green Lipton Tea from the donut shop, and the bottle of Organic Green Tea from Starbucks, I might have died of thirst today.

Watching the graduating class of 2010 graduate, was just amazing. Congrats, everyone. You guys finally made it.
