I watched Rushmore last night and finished it this afternoon. I thought it was a decent 90's movie. It's really about Carl Fischer, a 15-year-old boy who has the passion for attending this private school named Rushmore to the bottom of his heart. Though he is not the brightest through his academics, he is the most determined towards his extra curricular activities. But when he gets kicked out for promoting particular activities at the school, he tries to pull his life together at a public school, while being in love with an elementary school teacher at the same time. The movie soundtrack is worth listening to. I decided to give the movie a 5.5/10. The .5 is for Bill Murray's presence in the movie as a man named Herman Blume. Did you guys know that he played the voice of Badger in Fantastic Mr. Fox? Well, I thought that that was fascinating.
